Our residents enjoyed a fantastic morning harvesting the vegetables they have been growing and caring for over the past few months in the planters within our sensory garden.
After all their hard work nurturing the plants, the freshly picked produce was proudly hand-delivered to our talented chefs in the kitchen, where it will be used to create delicious, home-cooked meals for everyone to enjoy. There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of seeing the journey from seed to plate!
Gardening is a wonderful activity that encourages gentle physical exercise, supports wellbeing, stimulates the senses, and provides a great sense of purpose and achievement. It’s also a fantastic way to spend time outdoors, connect with nature, and create lasting memories together.
A huge well done to all our green-fingered residentsβ€”we can’t wait to see what we’ll be growing next! πŸŒ±πŸ’š

Our residents enjoyed an amazing Under the Sea Themed Lunch, celebrating over six months of creativity, teamwork and fun. From making jellyfish, colourful coral, a Yellow Submarine and shimmering CD fish to helping design the themed menu, residents were involved every step of the way.
The dining room was transformed into an underwater world, complete with bubbles, themed music, delicious food and games. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the decorations they had worked so hard to create and spending time together making more special memories.
A huge thank you to our incredible residents, Activities Team and Kitchen Team for making the day such a success! πŸ’™πŸ’πŸͺΈ
