Starting Sunday 16th August, we’re giving you six chances to be in the pub when somebody wins a very lovely, very spendable £1,000! 💷

Here’s how it works:

⚽ Be one of the first 100 adults through the door from 3pm each Sunday
🍺 Settle in and enjoy the new football season with us
🤞 At half-time during the late live game, we’ll discover whether Proper Pubs have selected The Vale to give away a grand!

If we’re chosen, one of our customers will win the lot. Yes, it genuinely could be you. Not Dave’s cousin’s mate who “never wins anything”. You.

The draw will take place within 15 minutes of the final whistle, and you must still be in the pub to win. So no sneaking off early because your team is three-nil down.

There’s also a Grand Draw over the Bank Holiday weekend, with a whopping FIVE separate £1,000 draws!

Every Sunday at The Vale, from 16th August to 20th September.

One lot will be telling us Yorkshire is God’s own country. The other lot will be singing before the players have even found the tunnel.

For everyone else, it’s a perfectly good excuse for a few pints and 90 minutes of loudly explaining professional football to the television.

The screens will be on, the beer will be cold and the referee will apparently be against both teams.

🎱 THURSDAY NIGHT MEANS POOL LEAGUE! 🎱

Tonight’s fixtures are absolute crackers...

🔵 Division 2
Inter Yer Nan are at home against The Rivi-Errors.

They might have “Errors” in their name, but we’ve watched that lot play before, so nobody’s counting the points just yet.

🔴 Division 3
AC Yer Nan are off on their travels to face the Arky Hustlers.

Hopefully there’ll be more hustling from our lot than getting hustled by theirs!

The cues are chalked, the excuses are fully prepared and somebody is already planning to blame the table, the cloth, the lighting and an unexpected breeze from the cellar.

If you’re not playing, get yourself into the Vale, grab a pint and offer plenty of completely unqualified advice from the sidelines.
