Our one year journey!!

One year ago, we opened the doors to Kwizinn with a dream, plenty of determination, and no real way of knowing what the journey ahead would bring.

What a year it has been.

Owning a restaurant has taught us lessons that no book, business plan, or advice ever could. It has challenged us, stretched us, humbled us, and rewarded us in ways we could never have imagined.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

To every guest who has dined with us, shared kind words, recommended us to family and friends, or simply chosen to spend your time with us—thank you. To the familiar faces we see week after week, your loyalty means more than you know. You are the reason we do what we do.

We have also been incredibly blessed by the support of so many local businesses, who have trusted us enough to recommend us to their own clients. That support has helped us grow and become part of this wonderful community.

There are people who have believed in us from the very beginning. A special thank you to Ian Kavanagh and Jan. Ian may be an electrician by trade, but he has been a friend in every sense of the word. Your support, encouragement, and willingness to help have meant the world to us.

This year has already brought milestones we never expected so soon, including our first major recognition with a nomination for International Restaurant of the Year. Moments like these remind us that hard work really does matter.

Our team has been at the heart of everything. We are incredibly proud that every person who started this journey with us is still part of Kwizinn today, alongside some wonderful new additions who have become part of our family. We couldn't ask for a better group of people to share this journey with.

It hasn't all been easy. Building a business opens your eyes to so much. We've faced challenges we never imagined—from physical attacks, being cheated out of our money by trusting the wrong people, to losing people we once believed were genuine friends.

But through it all, we've learned that adversity doesn't define you—your response to it does.
