We are hosting our next FREE 🫶 Community Connections Meal in connection with Monmouthshire on Monday 24th August at 12.30pm

Meal options are:

🍽️ Main Meal
Vegetable Lasagne, Garlic Bread and Salad
or
Quiche Lorraine, New Potatoes, Salad and Coleslaw

🍨 Pudding
Rhubarb Crumble with Ice Cream

Ice Cream

Today we ran our first of three FREE Kids Summer Activities at the Community Wellbeing Cafe 🎨

A huge thank you to all those attended and took part in the painting session, certainly some masterpieces created 🫟

Our next Summer Activity takes place on Wednesday 12th August where we will be doing Clay Modelling and Painting throughout the session.

We only have a couple of spaces left on this Friday's FREE Kids Summer Activity. This session we will be painting 🎨

As part of the session all those attending will be given the option to have a FREE 🥪 Lunchbox as part of our partnership with Monmouthshire Council.

FREE Digital Support & Inclusion Sessions

Starting this Friday (7th August) we will be running each week free one to one digital support and inclusion sessions at the Community Wellbeing Cafe, Tithe Barn.

Appointments are not required but we would ask if you feel your support would take a long time that you do email or message us to set a time so we can ensure a member of the team is available.

🎒 FREE Kids’ Lunch Boxes This Summer! 🍎🥪

This summer holiday, we’re here to help.

From 20th July until 29th August, families can collect a FREE children’s lunch box from the Community Wellbeing Café, Tithe Barn, St Mary’s Priory, Abergavenny, between 11am and 2pm.

Each lunch box may include:
🥪 Sandwich
🥔 Crisps
🧃 Juice drink
🍎 Fruit

These lunch boxes are available as part of the Emergency Food Aid Summer Provision, in partnership with Monmouthshire County Council.

🎨 FREE Kids Summer Activities at the Community Wellbeing Cafe

We are pleased to announce three summer activities taking place at the Community Wellbeing Cafe in the Tithe Barn. The activities will be FREE of charge to take part in but we ask you book a space in advance so we have an idea of numbers.

Each session will be different with painting, crafts and clay modelling.

Our first session on Friday 7th August will be painting.

Thank You for Joining Us at The Community Wellbeing Café Today!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to today’s Age Alliance Wales Roadshow at Community Wellbeing Café at the Tithe Barn.

It was wonderful to welcome so many members of our community through our doors to meet the fantastic organisations offering support, advice and information for older people, their families and carers. We hope you found the event informative, helpful and enjoyed the opportunity to speak directly with the organisations in attendance.

We would also like to thank Age Alliance Wales for bringing this wonderful event to Abergavenny, along with all the organisations who generously gave their time to support our community:
