A ‘soul food’ revival is taking place within the Southern United States at the moment, and the boys are bringing it to Aberdeen. They both have a huge passion for this style of cuisine, and hope you will too. Dishes will include southern fried chicken, smoked pulled pork, Cajun blackened salmon, and more. Exciting daily specials will let us all enjoy and learn about a style of cooking that focuses

of texture, taste and succulence. Emphasis is made on marinating, smoking, curing, barbequing, and serving it up with a load of love and soul. The boys have spent months sourcing premium meats, cheeses and vegetables; in-fact every ingredient has been hand-picked, tasted, tried and tested, trying where possible to live by their motto: “field to fork, and made with soul”. No needs to wear a tie, bring the family, and have some fun.

Hello everyone! Our weekend soul food special; homestyle meatloaf.

Our take on a classic American comfort dish. A mixture of Scottish beef and Scottish pork with a blend of comforting tasty spices. Smoked in house, basted with our house bourbon BBQ sauce.

Served with creamy mashed potato, Cajun green beans, spring greens, tender stem broccoli and a Cajun style beef gravy. Available until sold out.

Some wonderful soul food specials for the weekend:

Appetiser - crab cake sliders with a jalapeno tartar sauce, shredded lettuce and a corn & green onion salsa.

The main event - maple roasted gammon; with cauliflower cheese, charred broccoli, mashed potato and a red eye gravy. Made with locally sourced Scottish pork.

Some wonderful weekend specials....

Boneless beef short rib poutine served with a beef dripping gravy, cheese curds, sliced jalapeños and green onion. Offered as a small plate, upgraded side, or even a starter.

Smothered chicken (main course); a Southern comfort food favourite. Chicken supreme brined for 24 hours with a secret spice blend then pan seared and oven roasted. Served with sweet potato smash, American biscuit, collards with ham hock and a flavoursome chicken gravy with andouille sausage.

Easter weekend specials:

Montreal marinated pan roasted lamb. Served with collard greens with ham hock, creamy Southern gravy, creamy mashed potato then topped with crispy onions. A Southern twist on some beautiful locally sourced lamb.

Creme egg brownies with vanilla gelato.

We're developing a new menu and thought about bringing back some old favourites.

Strips of St Louis style ribs cooked low 'n' slow over apple and pecan embers. Sauced with our house bourbon BBQ sauce. These ribs turned out beautifully, and what's even better; it's locally sourced Scottish pork. Delicious 😋

Crispy shrimp po'boy (this tasty sandwich features on this weeks £10 lunch menu!); Southern fried king prawns served with lettuce, tomato & remoulade. Great textures; lovely seafood fried fresh to order.

We kicked off "Restaurant Weeks" last night and wow that was a busy service. Thank you so much to everyone who came out and dined with us.

On offer for "Restaurant Weeks" are 2 courses for £25 & 3 courses for £30. This is available any time of day during service.

We are also offering lunch for £10! This is available Tuesday to Friday 12 noon until 4pm.
