Yesterday we had the wonderful pleasure of welcoming the incredible ladies from Courage on the Catwalk for afternoon tea at Bev's Bistro.

Every single detail was crafted with love. Handwritten quotes at each place setting, apple slices on the glasses, fresh mint and cucumber in the water jugs, and of course our homemade gooey meringues and strawberry tarts straight from the kitchen.

Watching the friendship and warmth between these incredible women was just the most beautiful thing. It's moments like this that remind us exactly why we do what we do.

A massive thank you to Fiona Lindsay for organising such a special group. It was an honour to be part of your day.

The Ultimate Father's Day afternoon tea is now available to pre-order on my website for next weekend (yes next weekend!!) And this year, it's extra special, as it've made it for two to share.

This year's menu is:
2 x Deep-filled Crusty Bloomer Slabs: Choose your filling: Smoked ham with mature cheddar & homemade chutney | Maple-glazed chicken & bacon | The Classic BLT | Creamy brie with walnut & red onion chutney
2 x Shortcrust Chicken Pies (Vegetarian alternative available)
2 x Pork & Black Pudding Sausage Rolls (Vegetarian alternative available)
2 x slices of Rocky Road

All you need to do is pop the kettle on, or crack open their favourite tipple!

And if you live within 20 miles of the Bistro, we can even deliver it direct to your door!
