Our Diwali collection is here 🪔

This year I wanted to bring together a selection of handcrafted treats that feel a little different. From our artisanal biscuits and winter warming bites, to Belgian chocolate treats and bonbons.

A mix of traditional flavours, modern twists and some of Jigna’s Table recent favourites, all handmade in small batches.

Pre orders are now open and will close 25th October, or earlier if capacity is reached.

M E T H I B I T E S 😊

After lots of testing, tweaking and sharing these at some very special events over the last few months, I am happy to finally make our Methi Bites and Makhana Ladoos officially available to order.

Inspired by the traditional foods and ingredients commonly enjoyed by South Asian women during the postpartum period, I wanted to create my own take on them for women today.

Keeping the nuts, seeds, warming spices and ingredients these foods are known for, but making my versions without wheat flour or gluten and a touch of Belgian dark chocolate.

Our Methi Bites are packed with fenugreek, nuts and seeds, millet and lentil flours, dates, jaggery and ingredients including ginger, fennel, katlu and shatavari.

Our Makhana Ladoos are made with roasted makhana, healthy nuts and seeds with the option of a plant based version.

Both are handmade by me in small batches here in Hertfordshire, created with new mums in mind, but you definitely don’t need to be a new mum to enjoy them!

So this is the little change I mentioned…

It’s taken me a while to get here, but I’ve finally decided to change the name of my business from Tres Leches Dessert Co. to Jigna’s Table.

For a long time, I have felt that the old name didn’t really fit what I do anymore. I wanted something a little more personal to me and something that represents more than just one of the things I make.

So, say hello to Jigna’s Table

I’ll still be making celebration cakes, cupcakes, desserts and of course, plenty of tres leches!

I’ll share a little more about why I chose the name and what’s coming up over the next few days.

You might notice a few changes to the page over the next few days.

For quite a while now I’ve felt that Tres Leches Dessert Co. doesn’t really fit what I do anymore. The business has changed a lot since I first started and I make so much more than tres leches now.

I also have lots of ideas for where I would like to take things next, so it finally feels like the right time for change.

Nothing else is changing for now. I am still making all the cakes and desserts I already do!

I will share more with you over the next couple of days 😊
