We are closed. 🥹 The first chapter of The Corner has been written.

Thank you to everyone who came through the door and made our dream a reality. It was the best 8 years in the Alps we could ask for, completely made by you. Our friends x

2 Interesting Facts I bet you never knew about 420 🤯 -

Fact 1 - 420 originated in 1999 with five British ski school instructors known as the “Mongos”. They met at 4:20pm by the TUFS chairlift in Tignes Val Claret to hunt for an abandoned cabbage crop in an old hotel. Whilst hunting they found a bucket of meat fingers and took them on the chairlift, rumour has it they lap the chair every year on this day, to this day. The term 420 spread after they shared it with rock band, the Grateful Dead.

8 YEARS 🥹 (and now it’s for real)

Yep. It’s our final winter.
We spent 8 years building the Corner and thanks to you, our customers (scratch that, friends) for making it the greatest 8 years on the mountain we could’ve asked for.

It may be the end of an era, but it’s the beginning of a new one. Our close friends Al & Gemma are taking the reins, which means some things may change, and lots will stay the same.
But we couldn’t be happier to pass the torch to better people.

We hope you’ll support them as much as you’ve supported us 🤍

As for us, we want to do this 12 months a year, which means moving down the mountain… and we think we’ve found a spot.

Kinda scary.

So we hope you’ll join us on our journey and watch as we try something new, under a new name.
(We’ll keep posting here under a new name, it’s too much fun 🥲)
