In contrast to its more publicised counterparts the Limousin region in central France is delightfully underpopulated. In other words it's perfect for a fun, luxury, authentically immersive, French country holiday adventure with no crowds or queues. out creating the perfect context for you to unfurl your inner artist, writer, painter or chef. In addition, you'll get to wander through medieval castles and ramparts and centuries old gardens. You'll also get to see up close the famous tapestries of Aubusson and shop for antique furniture, linens and lampshades at country markets and brocantes. You can also recreate and conjure some of your own in hands-on cooking demonstrations back at the la Creuzette summer kitchen. Our double ensuite bedrooms has gorgeous natural light and sweeping views of the estate gardens. Each bedroom in the beautifully restored manor house is exquisitely decorated with Aubusson tapestries or cartons and the beds are made up with embroidered antique French linen. Our luxury bed and breakfast option includes accommodation and a daily served French breakfast buffet. Wifi internet is available throughout the main house and property.

Finally we can share our exciting news🤩

Some moments are simply unforgettable.
This past Sunday, we had the incredible honour of preparing the Presidential Lunch for the President of South Africa during the 110th Commemoration of the Battle of Delville Wood in France. To have been specifically requested by the South African Embassy for this occasion is a privilege I will always treasure.

Delville Wood is one of the most significant sites in South African history, where, in July 1916, the 1st South African Infantry Brigade fought with extraordinary courage and sacrifice during the First World War. The commemoration serves as a powerful reminder of those who gave everything in service to their country.
To contribute to such a meaningful day through our craft was truly humbling.

My sincere thanks to the South African Embassy for their trust.

Thank you to my right hand through this experience Anja Büchner for the beautiful dessert and all the preparations and also to the rest of my team for taking on this challenge with me.

A wonderful week spent with our Bastille group.

A heartfelt thank you to my co-host, Erns Grundling , for contributing to make it such a memorable experience, and to the incredibly talented Winand Grundling for filling our evenings with beautiful piano music. It added such a special touch to an unforgettable week.

A gentle end to a wonderful week with a special group of people. We loved every moment, every dance party in the kitchen, every conversation, all the laughs, the wonderful meals created together. At La Creuzette we really feel like family by the time the guests leaves.

Starter: sweet potato purée, grilled octopus marinated in rose harissa and lemon juice, black garlic aioli, and pickled red onion

Main: cauliflower and truffle purée, slow cooked pork belly with a caramelised shallot and apple pearls, wild asparagus

Cheese dish: Brie de meaux, nut and fig whipped cheese, tête de moine flower, served with a preserved fig and lambs lettuce
