2019 is coming to an end and a new decade is just around the corner. According to George the bunny, besides being prone to obesity, things will probably still be the same for me. I really should have drowned him when I had the chance...

Chocolate rice brownies and dried fruit oatmeal cookies. All homemade with lots of love ❤️ and less sugar. Wash it down with hot coffee and this bitter cold suddenly seems bearable.

Le temps s’est rafraîchit, et c’est le moment parfait pour venir déguster un de nos thés taïwanais ! 🍵

Notre thé Oolong vient de la montagne d’Ali, au cœur de l’île de Taïwan. 🏔 Les hautes altitudes garantissent un environnement idéal pour le thé. Les caractères de Oolong 烏龍 signifient « dragon noir », en référence la forme des feuilles grillées s’ouvrant alors que le thé infuse. 😋 🐉

It’s getting fresher outside, and now is the perfect time to come taste our Taiwanese teas 🍵

Our Oolong tea comes from Ali mountain ⛰, in the heart of Taiwan. High altitudes guarantee an ideal environment to produce the best teas. The characters for Oolong 烏龍 mean “black dragon”, a reference to the shape of gilled leaves unfolding as the tea seeps. 😋 🐉

Comment se passe l’été parisien ? Cette salade taïwanaise a tous les bons ingrédients pour vous rafraîchir après ces deux vagues de canicule.

Ce mélange de goyave, de margose (une sorte de melon), de dorilles (des fougères comestibles) en fait un plat frais et équilibré, parfait pour faire le plein de saveurs et de textures 😋🌿🌱 Bon appétit de Taïwan 🇹🇼👋

Le yuzu, c’est quoi ? 🍋🔍

Le yuzu est un agrume qui nous vient de Chine, mais est surtout utilisé au Japon. Apparenté à la mandarine, son goût est pourtant bien différent 😋 Il est utilisé en cuisine, en cosmétique et en décoration au Japon, en Corée et en Chine... et maintenant chez nous ! Le yuzu est servi chez MiBu en confit en soda maison et dans notre sauce teriyaki-yuzu, pour accompagner notre poitrine de porc 🐷

What is yuzu? 🍋⁉️

Yuzu is a citrus that originated from China, but is mostly used in Japan. Although related to tangerines, it’s taste is very different, and is much more fragrant. It is used in cooking, cosmetics and decoration in Japan, China and Korea... and now at MiBu! You can taste yuzu confit in our homemade soda, and in our pork belly with teriyaki yuzu sauce 🐷♥️🍋

Les galettes de MiBu

Chez MiBu, on ne rigole pas avec la qualité, le goût et l’équilibre de nos plats !

C’est pour ça que chaque plat est accompagné de salade et d’une galette de riz inventée par notre chef Ray 👨🏻‍🍳 Il crée ses galettes en cuisinant et utilisant l’amidon naturel du riz rond, avant de les faire griller, pour qu’elles soient fondantes au milieu et croustillantes autour 🤤

Pour accompagner nos galettes vous avez trois choix :

🐔 du poulet au pesto de shiso, frais et exotique
🐷 du porc avec une sauce teriyaki maison, équilibrée avec du yuzu, surprenante et gourmande
🍄 des champignons avec une sauce Shan-Bei, preuve que la cuisine végane peut être généreuse et parfumée

À accompagner d’une salade de pomme de terres et d’un soda maison dans notre formule 😋

MiBu rice galettes

At MiBu we don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we are very serious about providing healthy, tasty and balanced dishes!

This is why each dish is served with a bit of salad and a rice galette following our chef Ray’s secret recipe 🤫 He creates them by cooking rice and letting the natural starch keep all the grains together. Then off to the pan to create that crunchy deliciousness 😋😋

Along with the galettes are three different options:

🐔 fresh and exotic chicken with its shiso pesto
🐷 surprising and flavorsome pork, with its homemade teriyaki sauce and yuzu
🍄 Shan-Bei mushrooms, proof that vegan food can be generous and fragrant

If you choose our menu, these come with a fluffy potato salad and a homemade soda

Si vous êtes déjà venu(e) chez MiBu, vous avez sûrement du croiser Rubicond de la Bobinette d’Anjou...

Depuis tout petit, Rubicond portait bien son nom et avait été gracié d’un teint de betterave fâchée... Plus t**d, une consommation forcenée de sucreries eut raison de la plupart de ses dents, et lui octroya une collection permanente de boutons rouges d’un plus bel effet.

Malgré cela, Rubicond (Rub’ pour les intimes) est absolument charmant. Il a arrêté les sucreries et depuis a jeté son dévolu sur notre porc teriyaki-yuzu. Plus de problèmes de dents depuis ! À bon entendeur...

If you’ve been to MiBu, you’ve probably seen Rubicund de la Bobinette d’Anjou.

Rubicund carried his name well, and was arguably blessed by the complexion of an angry beetroot since birth. Later on, a frenetic consumption of sweets of all kinds for the better of his teeth, and covered him with an impressive collection of permanent pimples.

Despite everything, Rubicund (Rub’ to his friends) is great to have around. He gave up on sweets, and is now an avid eater of our teriyaki yuzu pork. He doesn’t have any teeth problems anymore -just saying...
