Dear all, this week we will enter the last month of Minsoo’s residency at Mokoloco. His last day will be on Saturday, April 25. From April 8 until then Minsoo will be throwing together a Korean noodle pop up which promises to be epic! During that time we will open for lunch and dinner Wednesday to Saturday.

Having said that, we also wanted to share the news that after 6 years of having hosted so many talented chefs from around the globe, we are sad to announce that Minsoo will officially be our last resident chef.

Mokoloco will close for a very short bit and will rebirth into something new. It is a months long project that will finally come to fruition and we are looking forward to sharing this with you in May.

In the meantime, we hope to see you for one last round and celebrate the new beginnings with us.

Cette semaine, nous entrerons dans le dernier mois de résidence de Minsoo à Mokoloco. Son dernier jour sera le samedi 25 avril. À partir du 8 Avril et ce jusqu’à son départ Minsoo organisera un pop up autour des nouilles Koréennes! Pour cet événement nous ouvrirons au déjeuner et au dîner du mercredi au samedi.

Nous voulions également vous annoncer qu’après avoir accueilli pendant 6 ans de nombreux chefs talentueux du monde entier, nous sommes tristes de vous dire que Minsoo sera officiellement notre dernier chef résident.

Mokoloco fermera pour un très court moment et renaîtra sous un nouveau nom et une nouvelle identité. C’est un projet de plusieurs mois qui se concrétisera enfin et nous sommes impatients de le partager avec vous en Mai

En attendant, nous espérons vous voir pour notre dernière résidence et célébrer ce nouveau départ avec nous.

We’re excited to announce that we will be hosting for one week only from March 3 to 7 our friend and wing man Jose Oviedo for 5 exceptional dinners at Mokonuts.

Jose was the chef at El Nopal in Paris and more recently spent time last summer at Alfonsina in Oaxaca. He will cook a 5 course menu featuring rich and authentic Mexican flavors.

Reservations are now open on the Mokonuts website.

This weekend marks the last few days of Josh’s residency we are sad to see him leave (again!) and wish him the best in his future endeavors.

Starting next week we are excited to welcome at Mokoloco .k1m former sous at Septime and who actually helped us during the Mokoloco opening ages ago! During his residency we will have new days of operation.
Open Tuesday to Saturday
Closed Sunday- Monday

Food is delicious and comforting, the wine selection is off the charts and the team is adorable.

Kailey cooked with us at Mokonuts for 3 long years before opening her beautiful neighborhood restaurant in Vincennes in the eastern suburbs of Paris. A must visit if you’re in town, a cozy little place where you will feel right at home.

So so happy to announce that will be our next resident chef starting this Tuesday!

We first tried Akira’s take on izakaya-ish modern- classic Japanese cuisine (don’t know how else to describe it!) at Cave Paul Bert a few months ago and we cried it was so delicious! We begged him to finally lay his hat down at Mokoloco after months spent travelling around the world. So honored he accepted!

⚠️New chef chez Mokoloco⚠️

As of today we welcome our new resident chef . A familiar face in Paris following installations at several of our most visited restaurants and watering holes between and most recently . Isabel has sharpened her knives and cut her teath cooking in several cities internationally including Copenhagen, Mexico City and London . (Notable establishments including Flor and Bright) . A menu of Mediterranean inspired shared plates will be served at Mokoloco Tuesday to Saturday nights through the end of summer. Who better to prepare them than a future aspiring grove farmer of olives and citrus. 🫒🍋🌴🌴🌴

After a little over a year and a half with us is leaving the mokonuts/mokoloco family to take time off and pursue his own projects. We cannot thank him enough for the time and dedication he had put into both restaurants and we will miss him tremendously.

Who would have thought that our casual chat over a bowl of chapagetti in December 2022 would turn into this. Josh “giving us a hand” at mokonuts for a few months became one of our most flourishing collaborations. Josh was not just an employee who worked for us, he became a close friend. We wish him the best in his future endeavors and have no doubt that whatever he pursues, it will be met with all the success that his talent deserves.
