We are a small restaurant with a big heated terrace & an outside bar serving local beers, w**e & much more. In the kitchen we make well cooked street food in the format of hotdogs. Together with a variation of side dishes. For dessert we serve a classic banana split. We are working hard in order to source the majority of our products locally, which really adds to the flavours and the freshness of

the food that is being served, as well as creating an awareness of the importance to prioritise locally produced food & drinks. We do live music Thursday - Sunday between 16.00 - 20.00

SEPTEMBRE CHEZ COOL CATS 🐾

Nouveau mois, et plein de bonnes raisons de venir nous voir.

On a ajouté un calendrier des événements à notre carte, avec tous nos rendez-vous hebdomadaires et événements ponctuels — également partagés ici sur Instagram. Et nouveauté : chaque mois, retrouvez un Chef Special + Bar Special, inspirés de la saison et des bons produits du moment.

🌭 Chef Special — Monsieur Septembre
La première création de Kevin, avec un petit coup de main de Louisa & Lisa : un hot dog inspiré du fenouil, disponible pendant la première partie de septembre.

🍎 Bar Special — Hot Apple C***r + sausage roll de Savoie Faire — 10 €
Une collaboration avec l’un de nos food trucks préférés de Chamonix. Et pour les plus téméraires, un shot de liqueur de pomme pour réchauffer tout ça.

On démarre septembre avec un grand vide-grenier samedi & dimanche chez Cool Cats.

Venez manger, chiner, boire un verre et profiter encore un peu de l’été avec nous. 🫶

New month, new menu, new reasons to come hang out.

We’ve added an events calendar to our menu, with all our weekly and one-off happenings — also posted right here on Instagram. And we’re introducing something new: a monthly Chef Special + Bar Special, inspired by the season and what’s good right now.

🌭 Chef Special — Monsieur Septembre
Our first creation comes from Kevin Roman, with a little help from & Lisa Moussine-Pouchkine Wallen Lisa: a fennel-inspired hot dog, available for the first part of September.

🍎 Bar Special — Hot Apple C***r + Savoie Faire sausage roll — €10
A cosy collaboration with one of our favourite Chamonix food trucks LeSavoieFaire Add a shot of apple liqueur if you’re feeling like turning up the warmth.

And we’re kicking off September with a big flea market this Saturday & Sunday at Cool Cats.

Come hang out, eat something good, and enjoy those late-summer days with us. 🫶.

QUELLE SEMAINE !

Un immense merci à tous ceux qui sont venus profiter de notre terrasse, manger, boire, rire et partager avec nous cette f***e semaine de l’UTMB. ❤️

Quelle équipe de personnes géniales ! Nous avons adoré vous accueillir et vous servir tout au long de cette semaine incroyable.

Et bien sûr, un énorme merci à notre équipe absolument fantastique. 🙌 Vous avez assuré, travaillé comme des fous et, malgré le rythme intense, vous avez réussi à garder le sourire et à vous amuser. Sans vous, rien de tout ça ne serait possible !

Alors… après un été bien rempli (et une semaine d’UTMB encore plus intense !), nous avons décidé de prendre deux jours de pause. Le restaurant sera fermé afin d’emmener toute l’équipe profiter d’une journée bien méritée : activités, bon repas, verres et surtout, un peu de temps tous ensemble. 🥂

On se retrouve mercredi, comme d’habitude !

A huge thank you to everyone who came by, hung out on our terrace, ate, drank, laughed and shared the UTMB madness with us. ❤️

What an amazing bunch of people — we’ve loved having you with us and serving you throughout this incredible week!

And, of course, a massive thank you to our absolutely amazing team. 🙌 You pulled it off, worked your socks off, and somehow managed to have a lot of fun along the way. We couldn’t do it without you!

So… after one very busy summer (and an even busier UTMB!), we’re taking two days off. We’re closing the restaurant and taking the whole team out for a well-deserved staff day — activities, good food, drinks and a little celebration together. 🥂

We’ll be back as normal Wednesday.

🌱 Ever wondered where our mint comes from?

Or what happens to all the vegetable scraps from our kitchen?

A couple of years ago, we decided to do something with them. We turned our food waste into compost, built healthy soil, and filled 12 planting boxes.

Today, those boxes are thriving, and every sprig of mint in your sangria, iced tea, or lemonade is picked right here by us.

It’s a small reminder that waste can become something beautiful—with a little patience, a little care, and a lot of love for good food. 💚

Et que deviennent les épluchures et les légumes de notre cuisine ?

Il y a quelques années, nous avons décidé de leur donner une seconde vie. Nous les avons transformés en compost, créé une terre riche et rempli 12 bacs de culture.

Aujourd’hui, ces bacs débordent de vie, et chaque feuille de menthe que vous retrouvez dans notre sangria, votre thé glacé ou votre limonade est cueillie ici, chez nous.

Une belle preuve que les déchets peuvent devenir une ressource, avec un peu de temps, de soin et beaucoup de passion pour la bonne cuisine. 💚

Des ingrédients plus frais. Moins de gaspillage. Encore plus de saveurs.

Cool cats summer part 1 !! Thank you guys for an amazing start of the summer !! We have never been this busy and we are working hard to keep up !! Love having everyone at ours and to have gotten music back on the terrace ! We are here for you always, if there is anything just come speak to us in the window ! Our mission is to make your summer the best !

THIS WEEKS CHEFS SPECIAL I ran into a good friend I met in the Alps many years ago, who’s now created an amazing brand of healthy, no-added-sugar squeeze foods for athletes—it’s called Yanaa Sports Food “You Are Not an Astronaut.” I was so thrilled to catch up with Anouk last week at the Mont Blanc Marathon in Chamonix. After trying her pea and mint purée, I felt inspired—and that’s how this hot dog came to life! I really hope we’ll get to do some events with Anouk soon, because her stuff is freaking awesome!

En français : J’ai croisé une bonne amie que j’avais rencontrée dans les Alpes il y a des années. Elle a lancé une marque géniale de purées saines, sans sucre ajouté, pour les sportifs : « You Are Not an Astronaut » Yanaa Sports Food , J’étais ravie de revoir Anouk à Chamonix la semaine dernière, au Marathon du Mont Blanc. Après avoir goûté ses purées, notamment celle aux petits pois et menthe, j’ai été inspirée pour créer ce hot-dog ! J’ai vraiment hâte qu’on organise des événements ensemble, car ce qu’elle fait, c’est juste génial !

Vendredi dernier, le 1er mai, Maja et Marley, 7 ans, de ecoledesglaciers, se sont donné une mission simple : faire une différence pour l’environnement.
En chemin, nous avons découvert Zoé () et l’initiative qu’elle a fondée avec ses deux fils, cookies_for_climate — une plateforme qui permet aux communautés de passer à l’action. Inspirés, nous avons lancé une collecte de fonds locale ici à Chamonix : des cookies faits maison, la vente de bouteilles d’eau et un vide-dressing chez Cool Cats.
Ensemble, nous avons récolté 600 €, qui serviront bientôt à planter des arbres fruitiers pour soutenir et nourrir notre environnement local.
Et ce n’est que le début. Les fruits de ces arbres seront transformés en tartes, cookies et confitures pour de futures collectes, créant ainsi un cercle vertueux qui continue de grandir.
Nous cherchons maintenant des personnes motivées pour rejoindre ce mouvement. Si vous souhaitez accueillir un arbre dans votre jardin et faire partie de cette aventure, envoyez-nous un message 🌱
Cet automne, nous nous retrouverons au Cool Cats Chalet pour un événement convivial — mini rampe, BBQ, musique live — où nous planterons et distribuerons les arbres à nos nouveaux membres.
L’avenir est prometteur… et délicieux.

Last Friday, on the 1st of May, seven-year-old Maja and Marley from , wanted to make a difference for the environment. We discovered Zoé and her two sons organisation, Cookies for Climate.” .
Through their platform we created a fun fundraiser, we baked cookies that we sold together with water bottles and a secondhand clothing sale at cool cats. We raised 600 euros, which will soon be used to plant fruit trees and help nurture our local environment.

The fruit will later become pies, cookies, and jams for future fundraising—continuing to support local environmental initiatives.

We’re looking for passionate people to join this growing movement! If you’d love to host a tree in your garden and be part of this journey, send us a DM. In autumn, we’ll meet at the Cool Cats Chalet for a fun event—mini-ramp session, BBQ, live music—where we’ll plant and distribute these trees to our new members.

The future is bright—and tasty! Reach out to be part of it!
