Fancy a freshly poured draught l***r, a hand-pulled IPA, c***r or Guinness? We’ve got you covered, with plenty of choice at competitive prices. Exploring our gin bar is an evening in itself, with the widest selection of premium and flavoured gins in the region. Pick an old favourite or let us tempt you with something different!

Going alcohol-free? You’ll be spoilt for choice! Our 0% selection includes Guinness, Thatchers c***r and three alcohol-free gins, including Whitley Neill Rhubarb & Ginger. We also have alcohol-free red, white and rosé w**es by the bottle plenty of reasons to enjoy an evening out, whatever you’re drinking.

And if the thought of Charlotte’s delicious home-cooked food makes you hungry, Mad Hatters Kitchen is serving from 7pm too. Make a night of it with dinner and drinks, all under one roof.

🍂 Make a Sunday of it at Hatters Bar!

We’ve still got a few tables left for Sunday lunch today, and with October here, Charlotte’s delicious homemade soups are back on the menu! Try our sweet potato, carrot and coriander soup with crusty bread perfect for an autumn afternoon.

Hatters Bar is open from 6pm, with cold b**rs, w**es, spirits and cocktails ready and waiting and both terraces there to enjoy while the weather still lets us.

New week, new excuses to stay for dinner at Hatters Bar 🍻🍷

You know how it goes you pop into Hatters Bar for one drink, somebody orders another, the conversation gets good… and suddenly cooking at home feels like a terrible idea.

Fortunately, Mad Hatters Kitchen has just launched its new Thursday - Saturday evening menu, so we’re quite happy to encourage that decision.

This week there are some brilliant new additions, including a Black Pudding Stack with bacon, hash brown, poached egg and pepper sauce, a warming Chicken Korma, proper Steak & Kidney Pie, homemade Cottage Pie, and a new Bakewell Tart joining the desserts.

Of course, the favourites are still there too; Sirloin Steak, Suprême de Poulet, freshly battered Fish & Chips, Chicken Kebabs, Sticky Toffee Pudding and Chocolate Nemesis.

So come in for a drink, stay for dinner, and make an evening of it.

Not booked in for Sunday lunch? No problem Hatters Bar is still the place to be later in the day.

Join us from 3.30pm for a relaxed afternoon drink, catch up with friends, enjoy the atmosphere and stay for some special afternoon entertainment.

We’ll have the bar flowing with cold b**rs, w**es, spirits, cocktails and all your Hatters favourites, and if you fancy something to eat, we’ll be serving our popular mixed planches and supersized Ploughman’s from 3.30pm until 6pm.

If you are joining Mad Hatters Kitchen for Sunday lunch, that starts at 1pm and you are very welcome to stay on afterwards and make a full afternoon of it.

🍺 WHY PAY MORE AT THE BAR?

Proper home-cooked food, freshly prepared from delicious ingredients at prices that mean going out for dinner doesn’t have to cost a fortune.

And when you move through to Hatters Bar, or simply relax with a drink on one of our terraces, we think the value should continue.

That’s why a pint of our draught Fürstenberg Pilsener is just €5.00.

And this isn’t some basic budget l***r.

Fürstenberg comes from Donaueschingen in southern Germany, with a brewing heritage stretching all the way back to 1283. Today’s Pilsener is a 5.3% German premium b**r, brewed simply from water, barley malt and hops. The brewery describes it as balanced, fresh and pleasantly bitter, with the hops bringing citrus, herbal and resinous notes, alongside maltier cereal and caramel aromas.

In other words, it’s a proper German pint crisp, refreshing and full of flavour.

And at Hatters Bar it’s only €5 a pint. 🍺

We reckon that makes it quite possibly the best €5 pint around.

So whether it’s three courses of Charlotte’s home cooking for €25.50, or a cold premium German Fürstenberg for a fiver…

Great news for the weekend Guinness Draught 0.0 is now back in stock at Hatters Bar, sitting proudly alongside Guinness Draught, our delicious Fürstenberg l***r, and our brilliant Périgord ales.

So whether you fancy a proper pint, something crisp and cold, a local ale, or a great alcohol-free Guinness, we have you covered.

And with this lovely Indian summer still hanging on, it’s the perfect excuse to grab some time on the terraces before autumn comes along and drives us all back inside.

Sunday afternoons at Hatters Bar 🍻🌿

Yes, the Sunday lunch at Mad Hatters Kitchen is every bit as good as people say — proper home-cooked food, seasonal vegetables, lamb or beef, rich gravy and homemade Yorkshire puddings.

But if you haven’t booked in for lunch this Sunday because you already have plans, don’t write the day off completely.
