Sunday afternoons at Hatters Bar 🍻🌿

Yes, the Sunday lunch at Mad Hatters Kitchen is every bit as good as people say — proper home-cooked food, seasonal vegetables, lamb or beef, rich gravy and homemade Yorkshire puddings.

But if you haven’t booked in for lunch this Sunday because you already have plans, don’t write the day off completely.

Pop down later and join us at Hatters Bar for a relaxed afternoon or early evening drink, and maybe something a little tasty from the bar menu. From 3pm onwards, we’ll have our popular mixed planches, our supersized Ploughman’s and other delicious bar snacks available.

Mexican Night Tonight at Mad Hatters Kitchen & Hatters Bar! 🌶️🍻🍹

Tonight is the night to spice up your Thursday and join us for one last little summer evening before September starts creeping in.

Mad Hatters Kitchen will be serving up some Mexican-inspired favourites, with plenty of choice on the menu, including a few tempting specials:

Loaded Chilli Beef Burrito
Chilli con carne, seasoned rice and melted cheese wrapped in a toasted flour tortilla, served with golden fries, dressed salad, salsa and sour cream.

Smoky Chicken Fajita Wrap
Tender spiced chicken with peppers and onions, seasoned with smoky paprika, cumin, garlic and a touch of chilli, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla and served with golden fries, dressed salad and cooling sour cream.

Or maybe you fancy something a little different…

Chimichurri Sirloin Steak
Tender sirloin steak seasoned with a fragrant chimichurri-style blend of herbs, garlic, oregano and a touch of chilli, grilled to your liking and served with sautéed mushrooms, grilled tomato, golden fries and a fresh dressed green salad.

And of course, Hatters Bar will have plenty of chilled Coronas with lime, along with our already much-loved Hatters Bar Tequila Sunrise, which has been a proper summer favourite.

Spice up your Thursday at Hatters Bar! 🌶️🍻🍹

This Thursday 27th August, Hatters Bar is bringing a little extra sunshine to the terrace with our Mexican Food Night alongside Mad Hatters Kitchen.

We’ll have the Coronas chilled, the lime slices ready, and of course our already renowned Hatters Bar Tequila Sunrise will be flowing, it has been one of the big hits of the summer, and Thursday feels like the perfect excuse for another one.

Mad Hatters Kitchen will be serving Mexican favourites including chicken fajitas, chilli con carne, burritos and tacos, with some traditional Mad Hatters dishes available too for anyone who prefers to keep things a little more classic.

So come and join us for one last summer party before September arrives, good food, cold drinks, terrace vibes and that warm Hatters welcome.

A little reminder to all our friends and hopefully some soon to be friends too, that Hatters Bar is open from 6pm this evening for drinks and Mad Hatters Kitchen restaurant opens from 7pm.

Come and join us for a cold beer, a glass of wine, a cocktail, a spirit, or simply a relaxed drink on the terrace before dinner.

On the menu tonight, our chicken kebabs have been going down brilliantly this week, and we also have a new addition: specially selected Toulouse sausage, served with chips and two of our own Mad Hatters golden-yolked free-range eggs.

Simple, proper, tasty food, served with a warm welcome.

Mad Hatters Kitchen is serving Charlotte’s freshly prepared, hand-battered fish & chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce perfect Friday-night food alongside a drink.

What a brilliant second night at the Mad Hatters Summer Weekender! 🎶🍻✨

Well… what can we say? What an amazing weekend.

Last night was a brilliant success, and the turnout was far higher than we ever expected. A huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported us, brought such a fantastic atmosphere and made the whole weekend feel so special.

Charlotte and the team worked incredibly hard to keep the food flowing, and we are so pleased that everyone was able to eat, drink, relax and enjoy themselves.

We had two very different nights, but together they made one magical weekend.

Friday was our proper party night, with Paul Whitton getting things started and BlackJack V rocking us into the early hours.

Saturday brought a slightly more relaxed feel, with the wonderfully talented Brian Bennett leading us into the evening, before our very own crooner Frank Brunet brought the weekend to a beautiful finale with his gentle summer swing.

Two contrasting nights.
One Summer Weekender.
And a little bit of Mad Hatters magic.
