Bonjour! Just to let all our friends, clients and followers know that our new address is Mini Maison, 45 rue Emile Combes, Pons 17800. For the time being our email remains [email protected]

Many grateful thanks to all our visitors over the past decade and more. Adrian and I have enjoyed our time in Biron and meeting so many delightful guests. Should you be in Pons, or close by, maybe you’ll come and look us up for a ‘hello’ or ‘bonjour’ and perhaps a café or two with us in our Mini Maison😃

We’re happy to say the new owners are keeping the house name “Maison Maurice” although it will no longer be a chambre d‘hote.

Dear friends, visitors, clients and all the many supporters of Maison Maurice over the past 12 years, it is with a heavy heart we announce we are putting our lovely house up for sale.

Some of you will know that we have been closed for many months due to C19 and then, in September, Adrian had another heart attack 😩😩. So now we’ve decided it’s time for a new chapter in our lives and all being well we will be moving into a town house in Pons, just up the road, some time next year.

This has been a truly wonderful period in our lives. We have felt privileged to live in the lovely community of Biron, and in such a beautiful place, where we have hosted so many delightful and interesting people, many of whom we now think of as friends rather than clients. We hope we can keep in touch and with this in mind you could send Penny Girardot a ‘friends’ request.

This page will stay open for a while yet and who knows we might even find a buyer who wants to continue the b&b! If you know of anyone wanting a large house with a well stocked garden in south west France please pass on our details: www maisonmaurice.net
