You must also be willing to take risks to achieve the goals you have set for yourself and achieve your dreams. At SENS, our main objective is to share our passion for specialty coffee and French pastries in the best possible atmosphere. We are always on the move, with a pace imposed by the situation. The speed is certainly not what we expected, but we are patient and we ensure that every decision we make will lead us into the right direction. It will make SENS.

This is the story of an adventure that has not yet started, but which must already be reinvented. The story of a brand driven by a passion and the desire to share it with a clientele to conquer. This adventure has not started that already new constraints are to be considered: social distancing, customer and team safety. But we should not forget the essential character of a café which must remain a place to share good moments, a place which must be warm and friendly. SENS is still only a brand, but we are already thinking about the best way to develop it in the beautiful city of Kingston. What is certain is that SENS will be close to the local community, by strongly favoring local partners, their products and their services. In the meantime, we are convinced that tomorrow will be different, and even better. Independent businesses will only survive thanks to everyone's solidarity. Malgré la situation actuelle, nous ne pouvons qu'avancer et préparer le futur. Une nouvelle étape importante passée hier avec l'enregistrement officiel de notre société SENS Café Inc. A très bientôt pour en savoir plus sur SENS, son identité visuelle et son offre.

Depuis un autre continent, nous ne pouvions rester insensibles à ce que nos confrères et amis vont devoir gérer ces prochaines semaines en France. La solidarité est nécessaire à tout point de vue : devoir fermer les établissements ne sera pas sans conséquence pour beaucoup. Alors bon courage à vous tous amis restaurateurs, barista, patrons d'établissements. Et nous tous, clients, ne devons pas oublier de retourner massivement dans nos établissements préférés lorsque ces fermetures seront levées. N'oublions pas d'être solidaires jusqu'au bout ! Il en va de la pérennité de ces commerces.

Ready to go 😊. Après 10 mois d'attente, nous avons enfin les visas tant souhaités. Une grosse étape dans le développement de notre projet. Qu'avons nous fait en les attendant ? Nous avons redécouvert le luxe de prendre du temps pour nous et pour les autres. Nous avons lu des kg de livres (on compte en kg tellement nous en avons lu ! ), nous avons travaillé sur le business plan de notre future enseigne au Canada, nous avons fait des allez retour à Kingston pour peaufiner notre étude de marché, nous avons discuté avec des avocats, des juristes, des architectes, des agents immobiliers de l'Ontario... Bref nous avons des fourmis dans les jambes tellement nous sommes prêts 😁. Encore quelques jours en France avant d'entamer le premier jour de notre nouvelle vie 🇨🇦.

I am always surprised when I enter a place for a coffee and when the person behind the bar tells me that with his very expensive machine he can guarantee a better espresso than if brewed by a barista !
