Over the past few months, the garden surrounding our restaurant has blossomed with a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs.

Just like on our main campus, we pride ourselves on respecting the key ethics of permaculture: Earth Care, People Care and Fair Share.

We make our own compost from kitchen waste, food leftovers, leaves and carbon materials.

Did you know that composting can generate natural heat of up to 60 degrees?

At Makan Dulu, every product has a story.

It begins in our permaculture garden, where students learn sustainable farming techniques. They plant the seeds, and nurture the soil with homemade compost. Stay tuned to discover how compost is made. Here you can see how the seed turned into a plant and then turned into this cucumber.

It is all about cultivating knowledge, sustainability, and a connection to nature.
