Happy Ratu Sukuna Day 2026 🇫🇯
Today we honour the remarkable legacy of Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna, one of Fiji’s most respected leaders and widely known as the Father of Modern Fiji. A visionary and highly educated leader, he served with distinction in World War I and later dedicated his life to shaping Fiji’s political and social development during the colonial era. Through his commitment to education, leadership, and land management reforms, he worked tirelessly to uplift opportunities for Indigenous Fijians and build a stronger, more united nation. His contributions continue to inspire generations, and his legacy lives on through the values we celebrate today.
