This week, Café Proosa celebrates its first month of operation.
I would like to sincerely thank the City of Vaasa for the opportunity and trust placed in my proposal. As an immigrant who chose Finland as his home, I feel deeply grateful for the warm welcome I have received. I hope to give something back to the city through this café, creating a place where people can meet, relax, enjoy good coffee, culture and conversation.
I would also like to thank VASEK and Hanken School of Economics, where I had the privilege of attending the Business Lead Program in 2024. The knowledge, encouragement and support I received there helped make this project possible.
As many of you know, the café had been closed for nearly two years. During the past month we have worked to renovate the space, refresh its design and bring it back into operation. We are proud of what has been achieved so far, but we know there is still much to improve.
This initiative is only possible through the support of the community. Every coffee enjoyed, every lunch purchased, every event attended and every kind word of encouragement helps keep Café Proosa alive and growing.
My commitment is to learn every day, adapt to local tastes and traditions, and provide a better service with each passing week.
