In Malaysia, Roti Canai is the popular round the clock dish with the directed translation 'flattened bread' is a Malaysian adaptation of the Indian Paratha Roti. Should you wonder why our dishes use a lot of coconut milk, here's the answer:
In Malaysia, the land of cultural hybrid and good food that use coconut in most of its dishes. It is a delight of Malaysian cooking. We use thick coconut milk for desserts and rich sauces. Thin coconut milk is used for cooking curries and soups. Unlike cow's milk, coconut milk is lactose-free thus it can be used as a milk substitute by those with lactose intolerance.

🍰 Sweet treat: Pandan flavored sweet cake Kuih Seri Muka. This dessert or kuih is made up of two layers. The bottom is made up of glutinous rice steamed together with coconut milk. The top green layer is made up of sweet pandan flavored custard cooked with coconut milk which makes it creamy. Both of these layers make this kuih stands out among the myriad of kuih available in Malaysia. As usual, pandan extract gives natural coloring to the kuih. Travelers are offered the authentic cultural dishes that are freshly made after being ordered. Southeast Asian cuisine is a blend of a plethora of flavors. The most favorite dish by Secret Recipe's customers: Rendang beef. This Malaysian dry curry dish with Indonesian root is voted by many to be the king of curry. There is not a load of curry sauce yet the meat itself is super tender and aromatic since it is coated with our blended spices including start anise, cinamon, cardamom, lemongrass, garlic, ginger and galangal. It takes hours of simmering, resting to get to this tenderness.
