It’s around 6 PM, you’re passing by Edna mall looking all the teens running around speaking American and taking about the opposite s*x or texting with lightning speed while popping their bubblegum, sure you cannot do anything about it as you were probably as annoying when you were younger too and you didn’t know it.
You see a little kid with a shoeshine box as big as him following you and insisting to clean your shoes for you for 5 birr, but you walk past him because you don’t care about your shoes just like me. Then there are those street beggar kids sent to chase you down the street by their moms who you always try to outrun but you never can now, can you. So you spare a change in exchange for your right to be left alone.
The blue and white minibuses that are passing right by you with guys sticking their heads out and asking you if you’re going their way and by now you are getting tired of interacting with people while you’re tired after work.
Now you are by Atlas making that right to chichinya, and of course there are gonna be women standing by the street either avoiding or locking eye contact, and you take the first right wondering why they do that.
Now it’s calmer and quite, you ignore the first left and make the second one after that, you walk in to the first open door to your right.
Sure, that’s one way to get to Mojito. One Day.
