And so the time has come! 🥹

Unfortunately, no one really tells you that small children & the events/hospitality industry really don't mix! Many weekends last year spent away from the family - missed football matches, fun days out - something I didn't really anticipate!

It's been fun, chaos, challenging, emotional, exciting but above all, the best learning curve - and I wouldn't change it for the world!

I can say with all honesty it was brilliant fun & I'm glad I did it ❤️

The upside is she is going to an amazing new home in the local area & we can't wait to visit 🚂

Now for another soggy Saturday 🤣🌧⚽️ 💙💙💕

Important lessons learned!

🥰 Family time is key!

⏲️ Time is precious - make it count when you get the chance to have a break! The years are flying by, summer has literally come & gone SO quick this year 🥹

🙏We are SO blessed with our amazing children (however crazy life gets!)

☕️ I missed GREAT coffee! I mean the spanish do a lot of things really well (particularly seafood!) but WOW, I missed our brew! ☕️ 🥰

We're back and have some lovely events lined up including one with St Wilfreds Hospice next week 🥰

PHEW! What a gorgeous day at the Nutley Football Club tournament 🫶⚽️

These kind of community events are only made possible by the many volunteers who work tirelessly to pull all the pieces together - we were delighted to be part of such a lovely day 🥐☕️

We're back in our usual spot tomorrow (High st Nutley) from 8.30am 🩷

We're on the High St in Nutley this morning until 11.30am - come & grab a cup of the BEST cup of Horsham Coffee Roaster 🫶☕️🌿

Since we started Sussex Grind almost a year ago (time flies when you're having fun 🥳), our vision has always remained the same. To bring local Sussex produce to our village & surrounding villages ensuring complete transparency around who we work with & where we get our produce ☕️🙏

I mean why hide it right?! Our customers want to know about what they're consuming & where it comes from 💪

It's taken a while for us to find a local coffee supplier we feel a connection with, while at the same time absolutely ADORING their coffee 🩷

That's why we've chosen to partner with as our coffee supplier of choice. Roasted here in the heart of Sussex 🫶

sustain long-term partnerships with coffee producers in Rwanda, Costa Rica, Brazil, and Kenya, paying prices well above the Fair Trade minimum. Their commitment to these farmers ensures both ethical sourcing and high-quality beans 🌿🌿🌿
