Morning folks 👋 I’m David Murphy, part of the Murphy family, owners of The Auld Triangle, Bar 67 and Wayne's Steakhouse here on the beautiful island of Lanzarote. ☘️
I’m originally from Drimnagh in Dublin, but I moved over to Lanzarote when I was only 12 years old. I’m turning 40 in a couple of weeks, so that tells you how long this island has been home for me! 😂 I’ve had a few stints away over the years, including working as a bartender in the USA, but I always ended up back here with the family and involved in the businesses.
If you’re coming to Lanzarote, make sure to pop in and visit us at one of our locations. Hopefully I’ll get to meet a few of you along the way.
And please give my page a follow and a share to see what I get up to when I’m away from the bars. I absolutely love to travel and I love my food, so you’ll probably see me eating my way through all sorts of restaurants and trying food from all over the world 😂 But travelling is definitely one of my biggest loves, so there’ll be plenty of that too.

The time Chef Wayne and myself drove all the way from Ireland to Lanzarote with a van absolutely packed full of stuff, just so we could get Bar 67 opened properly. Some journey that was 😂🍀

Had a gang in last night and I was serving them, and this has only just come back to me now 😂 One of the m**s called her young lad over to see what he wanted to eat and his name was Larsson. I thought to myself, what a name 😂👏 Fair play to you. Absolutely class. 🍀💚
