Starlight Farm Subtropical farm to table restaurant in development Hope that you'll like us! and more importantly come and taste our food and hospitality soon :)

We are a small boutique place to stay, events company and food producers! - soon to open a restaurant as well assuming all goes to plan with the authorities... . We also cater events big or small, at Starlight Farm, or within La Palma and all of Santa Cruz de Tenerife province. Modern approach to the wonderful cuisine of La Palma from Mangoes to Macadamias, Rhubarb to Raspberries, Chilies to Kale

- sub-tropical gardens bring us almost everything we could want to use... and the village here has tropical coastline and 15mins up the mountain, you could be in a dusting of snow....

We are reinventing classic Canarian dishes as well as using the wonderful seasonal produce from our own orchard estate where we can, and always from Tenerife province, where clear skies, Atlantic breezes and mountain springs nourish our amazing produce to create delicious food packed full of herbs, spices and the freshest of tastes... .

take 1kg flour ideally spelt and 00 wheat, 200g sourdough starter, a pinch of instant yeast, 800ml water, a glug of oil and 18g salt.

introduced me to this and it's divine. crushed white beans and tuna, mixed with a splash of cream and swiss cheese. I added a load of sauteed jumbo spring onions, garlic and red peppers as we had loads in the orchard.

served with a warm salad of sauteed keeks swiss chard and mustard leaves, some boiled potatoes and dressed with lemon dill and garlic butter.
