Registration is now OPEN! 🎉

This year, we’re delighted to support W***y and Rotary Club Mijas International, raising funds for La Barandilla, a charity dedicated to the prevention of young su***de in Spain.

🙏 Every contribution counts. All proceeds from the day (including golf and buggy fees, raffle tickets and extra activities) will be donated to this important cause.

Dressed in white and full of enthusiasm, Christine Graf proudly received the President’s Collar of Rotary Club Mijas International.
Christine is no stranger to the role. She is the fourth woman to serve as President in our club’s 10-year history and has the unique honour of being the first member to lead the club for a second time.
At Rotary Club Mijas International, we proudly combine Rotary’s global vision with the warmth of a truly international club, bringing together members from 12 different countries, while making a real difference in our local community.
More than 50 members and guests gathered at La Sierra Restaurant in Mijas to celebrate the traditional passing of the President’s Collar from outgoing President Andy Wheaton to incoming President Christine Graf. It was an evening filled with friendship, laughter, inspiring speeches, wonderful food and plenty of dancing.
Here’s to another fantastic Rotary year and celebrating our club’s 10th anniversary.
Congratulations, Christine, and every success for the year ahead!

Happy 200th Meeting

A lot can happen in 200 meetings but this is the amazing anniversary that Rotary Club Mijas international has reached.

Taking a penguin theme after our raffle collection box and our dearly departed member Max without the Millions, 35 members, Founder members, Past Presidents, Guest Presidents and guests settles down to a tapas meal and stories old and new about how the club was formed and the exploits of the club.

The funniest story was again about our Max , who boasted to a new prospective member that he had been a senior tank commander in the Danish Tank regiment. Only to let it slip later that it was the only tank in the Danish Army! There was no truth in the rumour that this sole armoured vehicle had 1 forward gear and 5 reverse.

Special Penguin Rotary badges where handed out and a rare almost exitinct species of penguin made a rare appearance in the Costa Del Sol.

Three similar photos taken with the enthralling and very interesting team from A Life . An Organisation that literally puts its heart and soul into saving lives through fund raising for defibrillators for the Mijas areas.

A personal potential tragedy that has evolved into an amazing cause. Rotary Club Mijas International are delighted to have helped in a small way by donating the proceeds from our penguin Raffle to such dedicated people.

They said it wouldn't last but Rotary Club Mijas International has reached a huge milestone and it's 200th Meeting is just around the corner.

Hello Helsinki calling.

Rotary Club Mijas International welcome to our meeting. Here pictured with our two current Finnish Members Suvi and Erkki plus the imposter that is Londoner President Andy.

A fun happy meeting and lunch was held listening to the sponsored bike rides under taken by Members Frank for team Belgium and Dr. Peter for team Luxemburg.

Also the club heard from on the project that is the new AFA building in Mijas Pueblo.
