MEET SAMU! 👋🏼

Samu’s La Barra story is a pretty special one.

He lives just around the corner from our bakery, so one day he stopped by out of curiosity, ordered breakfast and something sweet… and instantly fell in love with the place.

Not long after, he decided he wanted to be part of the team. He asked if we were hiring, and that’s how his La Barra journey began. 🤎

Friendly, outgoing, and according to many, one of the best people you’ll ever meet behind the counter.

Outside of work, he’s a regular at the cinema, you’ll find him at pretty much every movie premiere. He’s also a big fan of fast cars and motorcycles. 🤪

His favorite La Barra treats? The Strawberry Rose Doughnut and our wheat loaf with cheddar and jalapeño.

Every loaf at La Barra is made using 100% sourdough.
We’ve spent years perfecting our recipes to make sure
our bread tastes and looks exactly the way it does today.

Sourdough isn’t the easiest partner to work with. It can be unpredictable, and it needs constant care and attention.
In short… it’s not always easy.

That’s why we wanted to share a few facts you might not know,
facts that could completely change the way you look at the bread you eat every day.

WE DON’T WASTE, BECAUSE WE BELIEVE EVERY BAKE DESERVES A SECOND LIFE. 🤎

From day one, we’ve been committed to working in
a sustainable way, with respect for our products
and a strong focus on quality.

It’s completely normal for production to leave behind ingredients or baked goods that could simply be thrown away. But that’s not how we do things. 💪🏻

Whenever we can, we give our products a second life, and more often than not, we succeed. You might not even realize that some of your favorite treats are created
in the spirit of zero waste. 🫢

Don’t worry, you don’t have to find out, because
we did it for you!

We gave our team a challenge: everyone had to measure out 800g, without looking at the scale!
