🚗⛽ 𝗚𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦 𝗙𝗨𝗘𝗟 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗔𝗦 𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗬 𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗘𝗦

The Spanish Government has announced an extension of measures designed to cushion the impact of the energy crisis linked to the war in Iran.

From 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿, drivers will continue to receive a direct reduction on petrol and diesel, with the discount on 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟬 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗲.

However, the support will gradually change over the final months of the year:

⛽ 𝗢𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗕𝗘𝗥: 𝟮𝟬 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗲
⛽ 𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥: 𝟭𝟯 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗲
⛽ 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥: 𝟲 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗲

The measures will remain in place until 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟭, with additional safeguards if energy prices deteriorate significantly.

The package also includes measures affecting 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 and 𝗴𝗮𝘀 prices, aimed at limiting the impact of the energy crisis on households and businesses.

For drivers, the big question now is how much of this reduction will actually be reflected at the pump as international energy prices continue to fluctuate.
