The Makani Story:

Since Makani began as a popular up-start bakery in Sharm El Sheikh back in 2002, we have made it our mission to create distinctive spaces that bring people together and break down barriers in food services. Our progressive approach to food led us to innovate new directions for

Makani, first by developing into a delicatessen, then by pioneering an affordable Sushi Bar. While we believe in that old adage that 'A Rolling Stone Gathers No Moss', we continue to stay true to our tradition of establishing each Makani branch as a response to the particular needs of the community. As a result, we have gradually moved east to West, putting down roots in seven neighborhoods with delivery services covering nearby locations. From here on, we aim to prove that our homegrown talent can grow and still deliver consistently high quality, innovative food, service, and spaces for the communities where we work.
