It is useless to explain what tiramisu is (emphasis on the last syllable) by comparing it to a delicate cake, pudding, or soufflé. This is a gentle, airy, weightless "something". In order to stop eating it, you need a special willpower :) It does not let go until the last crumb of a cookie, until the last drop of the most delicate cream!
Tiramisu is a 100% Italian dish, like spaghetti or pizza. The name consists of three Italian words: tira mi su, which can literally be translated as "lift me up". The Italians mean an emotional state, and this translation should be understood as "cheer me up." And there is also a version that tiramisu is considered an exciting treat (due to the combination of coffee and chocolate). The nobles ate tiramisu before love dates, and therefore this dessert got its name. But the Italians are well-known seducers and voluptuaries, in this matter they are docks, they know what with what to whom and when to serve
