Our start
As soon as we discovered that freshly roasted coffee is much more flavorful, we started buying green beans and experimented with home roasting. Since that day, we have never gone back to store-bought coffee because the results were astounding. We then took our roasting and barista skills to a professional level with coursework and certifications through the Specialty Coffee Association. When our friends and family members tried our roasts, they quickly asked if they could purchase our coffee and encouraged us to start sharing the product with the world. We chose the name Notes because the variety of flavors in properly roasted coffee are like music for your taste buds.
