Dahab is a world famous centre for scuba diving. The Red Sea has the most northerly coral reefs in the world which makes it an ideal destination for European travellers who want to experience spectacular dive sites close to home. There is great diving right here in town and world class sites, such as the Blue Hole and Gabr El Bint are just a short taxi ride away. Strong north easterly winds, mainly in autumn and winter, provide ideal conditions for windsurfers and kite-surfers alike. Well equipped multilingual centres around the Laguna hire out equipment and provide training for all levels, though there are also centres around the Lighthouse. The sheltered bay of the Laguna is an ideal place for beginners to develop their confidence while the more experienced can enjoy the freedom of the open sea. International

Dahab is the perfect place from which to explore the Sinai, in particular the monastery of Saint Katherine and the Mount Sinai of the bible. It is easy to reach from the major destination of Sharm El Sheikh, with it’s international airport, and there are regular transport links to Cairo. Traditional values

Marine Garden Camp is far from being isolated - situated just a few minutes walk away from the Lighthouse, one of the towns main diving hubs and transport centres, getting around couldn't be easier. All the towns shops and restaurants are within easy reach by foot. The Bedouin village of Asalah, is also close by, where you can experience the day to day life of the local Bedouin population.
