We do understand that innovation is not an easy choice, we know very well that people who create ideas and can make it happen are rare. Yet we do not by all means encourage copying and manipulation.

Mood Swing Restaurant and Lounge is an Egyptian brand that was found in 2011 and kept on running its sole branch till 2014. Since then, this branch was shutdown till date for many reasons till reopening when founders feel it is the right time. Mood Swing doesn't have any other branches nor gave any franchising rights to any entity/ person till date. Any other F&B business carrying the same name or having the same concept is not related by all means to the original brand or any of the founders.
We are committed to prevent any kind of unethical attitude towards copying the brand as we do believe there was only one Mood Swing, with its distinctive concept, people, and quality. Mood Swing was driven with passion, and passion can't be copied, nor turned commercial.

Donno why it keeps on itching my mind for months n weeks to keep in touch with our old guests n loyal customers who really loved n appreciated that place...

Maybe because we didn' lose our interest in the brand yet waiting for the right time?
Maybe because this brand changed our lifes as Founders and staff for some good time, and had its positive impact on our skills and capabilities?
Maybe because it created for the first time back then the combination of food, art, and music, and affected the taste of the market?
And maybe we are so grateful to the loyal guests who made it a legendary concept one day...

We'll keep posting our thoughts & music, till we meet there again :)

Dear Folks,

May be this is the last message to be sent to our guests from Mood Swing till further notice...

Mood Swing was a great concept that had all the fame specially in 2013 as one of the top dining and entertainment venues in town, yet, great concepts sometimes face great challenges and difficulties.

Due to many challenges and changes that took place in the past 12 months, we decided to close our doors for guests one month ago. We refuse to present a low quality, and we insist that if we can't sustain, we need to break. Most of our guests have good memories in that place, great photos, and their names written on our walls, we won't let you down, in fact, we need you to keep the last good memories till we face all challenges, and be back stronger and better shaped.

Thanks for all the people who supported that brand in the first two years, and thanks for making Mood Swing one of the top Casual Dining concepts & entertainment venues in 2013. We are grateful to all our guests and to Ladies in specific who represented almost 70% of our guests, and who were the main driver for the success of this place in its best years.

Till we meet again with the same brand, but with a completely different business approach and a venue that will rock...

No need to do, cause Mood Swing has planned a magnificant and breath taking night from 8:00 PM till 1:00 AM with a rocking live program...

Ensure to reserve your place early enough and confirm by deposits latest on the 29th of December 2013...

Our live program:
** 8:00 PM til 10:00 PM: Ahmed Cuba (Percussions) & Sherif El Gesr (Guitar) accompanied by latest House and Pop music hits.
** 10:30 PM 12:30 AM: The strong and talented voice of Sally Sampson singing the latest Pop and Dance songs and christmas carols...

Mood Swing Talent Competition:

Since Mood Swing is the first musical thematic casual dining concept in the world, we are now carrying our concept to the next level.
Mood Swing Talent Competition is the first talent contest to be held worldwide by a restaurant aiming at discovering new talents and giving them the opportunity and help them to take the first steps in the world of music.

The Contest:
1- To write the lyrics, compose, and perform an original song with the name “Mood Swing”.
2- The talents should be able to perform the song with the accompanying music and beats, whether as a single musician and vocal or a band.
3- The song should be in English.
4- The song lyrics shouldn’t be linked to restaurants and food by all means.
5- The song should be in a modern fast beat and categorized under Pop/ dance music.
6- After initial screening, the selected talents will perform live at Mood Swing and we’ll produce a video clip for each song.
7- All songs will be placed on our page and YouTube channel for one month for audience voting.
8- After selecting the top 5 songs based on votes/ likes, the final selection of the wining song will be made by a committee formed from Mood Swing Management and professional musicians.

Terms & Eligibility:
1- Age: Talents eligible for participation should be 18 to 35 years old.
2- All songs should be sent to the following mail latest by 28/2/2014: [email protected]
3- No professional recording needed just mobile camera or handicam shooting.

The PRIZE:
Mood Swing will undertake the production of the selected song and it will be recorded in a professional sound studio. The song will be distributed among music radio channels and released on YouTube. The winning talent/ band will have the right to produce a video clip for the song under the authorization of Mood Swing Restaurant & Lounge keeping the copy rights to the producing brand name “Mood Swing Restaurant & Lounge”

Finally, Mood swing Slogan Contest reached its final destination; the innovative slogan of =Omayma Tantawy= won the contest after the final stage in which two slogans were competing for the votes of our Fans...
