For our Vanilla Ice Cream, we chose pure Madagascar vanilla beans — the famous Bourbon vanilla, grown in the northeast of Madagascar, where the island’s climate creates the perfect conditions for some of the world’s most prized vanilla.

Vanilla first travelled from Mexico, where it was cultivated centuries ago, eventually making its way to Madagascar, which became its most celebrated home. Today, each bean still requires hand-pollination, months of growth, and a long curing process before it develops the deep, fragrant complexity we know as true vanilla

And then, there is our ice cream.

Pure Madagascar vanilla, with its tiny seeds running through a smooth, creamy base — letting the vanilla speak for itself.

The Deli has always been a defining part of Simonds; something embedded in it. Now, it has a maison of its own.

For years, our sandwiches have been part of what makes Simonds, Simonds — from the bread we bake to the fillings we’ve perfected down to the last detail. Simple on paper. Unmistakable in taste. And, as our regulars know, impossible to replicate. So we gave it a place of its own.

Maison Deli is our dedicated mini deli at our latest store in G17, Palm Hills — a space built entirely around one thing: making really, really good sandwiches. Fresh breads. Proper fillings.
