The Maio family has been active in the restaurant business since 1976. Their first hotel restaurant “La Bettola” was opened in Carisio, located between Biella and Vercelli in Italy. It maintains its popularity representing the Piedmont region cuisines with an excellence of combining tradition and trend at the same time. The Maio Group was later founded by the Maio brothers’ named Alessandro and Massimo to expand the family business even further. Alessandro Maio ensures excellence at the Maio Restaurant in Milan as well as in Copenhagen. His love and passion has always been synonymous with high quality food and wines, which is daily reflected with strict selections of nothing but fresh seasonal ingredients throughout the year. He has achieved great success through his passion for hospitality, professionalism, love and respect for his employees.
