Tonight, we are incredibly proud and grateful to share that Udtryk has retained its Michelin Star.

To receive this recognition is always special. To receive it while our restaurant is temporarily closed after the fire feels particularly meaningful.

The past weeks has been challenging, but it has also reminded us how much this place means to so many people - our guests, our team, our partners, and everyone who has supported us along the way.

This star belongs to all of you as much as it belongs to us.

Thank you for believing in us, standing by our side, and cheering us on while we rebuild.

We cannot wait to welcome you back.

Many of you have been asking what actually caused the fire - so we wanted to share a little update with you.

After a thorough investigation, it turned out that the fire was caused by an electric wire underneath the floor that self-ignited in the middle of the night.

It was, sadly, something completely out of our hands - there was nothing we could have done differently to prevent it from happening.

We are just incredibly grateful that no one was hurt, and that we can now focus all our energy on rebuilding and getting ready to welcome you back.

A little update from all of us at Udtryk.
 
The renovation is now well underway, and every day we are getting one step closer to welcoming you back through our doors.
 
Even though the fire was a tough setback, we have decided to use this time wisely - going through every little detail with fresh eyes, making sure we come back even better than before.
 
We can’t wait to share the result with you, and we promise it will be worth the wait.
 
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has reached out, supported us, and stayed by our side during this time - it truly means the world to us.
 
We will keep you posted along the way, and let you know as soon as we are ready to open our doors again.

As some of you may already know, there was a fire at Udtryk a couple of weeks ago.
 
We have now had time to assess the situation and process everything, and unfortunately, the damage is so extensive that we will need to remain closed for quite some time.
 
We are, of course, very saddened by the situation - it truly couldn’t have happened at a worse time, just as we were heading into the summer season.
 
That said, we have already begun renovating the restaurant and are hoping to reopen towards the end of July or the beginning of August.
 
A huge thank you to all of you who support us every day and continue to cheer us on.
 
We will keep you updated and let you know as soon as bookings reopen.

We’re proud to have been awarded 92 points in the Falstaff Restaurant & Bistro Guide Nordics 2026.

A new chapter at Restaurant Udtryk

We are very pleased to introduce our new Head Chef, Pascal Dallarosa.

Pascal has been part of Udtryk since the very beginning as Sous Chef and has played a significant role in shaping the kitchen and the level the restaurant stands for today. He is a remarkable culinary talent and previously earned a Michelin star as Head Chef at Rossbarth in Switzerland.

It therefore feels completely natural that Pascal now takes the lead in the kitchen, together with the strong team that has been a core part of Udtryk since the start.

The past week has shown exactly the sense of unity and energy that drives the restaurant forward, and we have been incredibly grateful for the support we have felt from both our team and our guests.

Last week, we ended our collaboration with our former Head Chef following an internal incident. At the Norrlyst Group, we have zero tolerance for physical boundary-crossing behaviour, and we therefore acted quickly.

Now we look ahead.

With Pascal at the helm and a strong team around him, we look forward to the next chapter for Udtryk.

2025 was packed full of magical moments for us and the team at Udtryk. We hope everyone had a great festive period and new year!
Through the wild wave we have ridden to the amazing guests that have visited and staff who have supported myself & Regitze dreams and vision that is based on 2 dreamers who wanted to “Udtryk” their story to the world, thank you.
We cannot wait to open our doors again on the 20th January 2026 we will drop some teasers for our new menu in our stories comming up
