We are honored to host the first-ever Danish solo exhibition for David Olayide, , David’s practice is more than just art; it is a “transformative dialogue” that challenges us to look closer at the world around us.

His work weaves together a rich tapestry of culture, identity, and the evolving world of fashion—all while grounding itself in the global discourse of recycling and sustainability. By using norm-defying processes, David reimagines “waste” as revolutionary ideas, turning the discarded into the divine.

This is a rare opportunity to witness a rising global talent redefining the boundaries of contemporary art.

Exhibition ends in April. Take a piece home: Individual works are available for purchase. Inquire at the front desk or via DM.

Finally, we can reveal what we’ve been waiting two years to share —

the powerful and poetic work of Konboye Ebipade Eugene is coming to SASAA for his solo exhibition.
Konboye is a visionary Nigerian artist who transforms discarded footwear into striking portraits and sculptural pieces.

Rooted in a childhood of playful invention with found materials, his work speaks of resilience, memory, and sustainability.

A distinction graduate in Painting from Auchi Polytechnic, he blends formal technique with deep symbolism — each piece stitched with intention and care.

Konboye’s impressive repertoire includes:
• Residency at Omooba Yemisi Shyllon Art Foundation (OYASAF)
• Workshop at International Mosaic Symposium, Patagonia
• Speaker at AFRIWOCC Pre-cop hosted by H.E. Samira Bawumia
• Panelist at Nigerian Creative Conference (NCC) 2024, UI

He has held solo exhibitions like ‘Beyond’ (The Room) and a second at Villa Bellombra, both in Bologna, Italy.
His work has also featured in:
• TotalEnergies Open House (2022 & 2023)
• The Earth Speaks (2023)
• Summer Creative Clean Up (2023)
• In Search (Galari, 2023)
• Recycled Matters (2022)
• Framing Her (2022)
