We’re building a small and dedicated team around great ingredients, strong technique, curiosity and attention to detail.

At MALMA, the kitchen doesn’t stop at the pass. As part of a smaller team, you’ll also bring dishes to the table, meet our guests and be part of creating the full experience.

We’re looking for people who love cooking, but also enjoy the energy of the restaurant and being close to the people we cook for.

Something special is taking shape… ✨

After the fire, we have patiently awaited the moment when the final traces of smoke would fade. Now, the transformation of MALMA is finally underway — and with it, the beginning of a new chapter.

We are working towards opening our doors in mid-November, and we cannot wait to welcome you at malma_restaurant .

An update from MALMA ❤️‍🔥

Over the past eight weeks, the demolition and restoration process has quietly moved forward.

Today, we can finally share some encouraging news.

The rebuilding of MALMA is expected to begin within the next 5 weeks.

Every delay has only strengthened our determination to create the place we originally envisioned.

What happened changed the timeline, but never the ambition.

MALMA has always been more than a restaurant. It is a vision shaped by craftsmanship, hospitality and an uncompromising attention to detail.

That vision remains exactly the same.

Thank you for standing by us, for your patience, and for the countless messages of support throughout this journey.

We look forward to welcoming you when the time is right.

malma_restaurant is making progress 🩵

Demolition, cleanup, and the removal of odor-related damage are well underway, and if everything goes according to plan, reconstruction will begin in approximately three weeks.

It’s a major task, but we’re doing everything we can to move forward safely and successfully - and to be able to welcome you back as soon as possible.

Thank you for all your messages, questions, and support. It means more to us than you can ever imagine ❤️

We’ll continue to keep you updated along the way.

Every day brings us one step closer to our reopening.

To our guests with upcoming reservations at MALMA ❤️‍🩹

Dear guest,
We are very sorry to inform you that a fire four nights ago caused severe damage to MALMA, and the restaurant will therefore not be able to open as planned for the upcoming trial dinners.

We had truly looked forward to welcoming you and deeply appreciate your understanding and support during this difficult time.

Insurance and rebuilding processes are now underway, and MALMA will return later this year.

We will of course contact you with new dates for the trial dinners as soon as we know more.
