Legend has it that a young Ethiopian goatherd named Kaldi noticed something unusual. After eating bright red berries from a wild shrub, his goats became incredibly energetic—running, jumping, and dancing long into the evening.
Curious, Kaldi tried the berries himself and felt the same burst of energy. He shared his discovery with local monks, who eventually found a way to brew the berries into a drink that helped them stay awake during long hours of prayer and meditation.
And just like that, the legend of coffee was born. 🌿
While the story of Kaldi is a legend rather than a proven historical fact, it has inspired coffee lovers for centuries and reminds us that every great cup of coffee has a story worth sharing.
