Some dishes come and go - and some STAY because your regulars simply won’t let them leave.
Our Mushroom Toast has been with us since the start 🤍

Sourdough piled high with chickpea spread, fermented mushrooms, butter-fried oyster + champignon mushrooms, pickled green tomatoes, sweet green peppers, cacao nibs, hazelnuts, watercress and garlic sprouts.

Earthy, bright, nourishing from the inside out — and fermentation-forward in all the ways Sixteen Twelve does best.

It’s cozy, hearty, and just… grounding. A brunch classic that keeps its place on the menu because you keep coming back for it.

A little glimpse into our Mind & Gut Health workshop — an evening of grounding, learning, and connecting over nourishing food 🤍

Led by - we shared calm & introspective journaling moments, accessible wisdom on the gut–mind axis, lots of meaningful questions, spiked kombucha that nourished from the inside and an abundance of cozy chatter. It was a night that felt intentional in all the right ways.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. It really gave the Sixteen Twelve energy we love: warm, curious, and refreshingly human.

More evenings like this to come.
✨ Want to stay in the loop with upcoming events? Join our newsletter! (link in bio)

A few snaps of the vibes & space lately 🤍

By day, she’s bright, cozy and calm - the kind of space where the morning light hits just right, the coffee is strong, and nourishing brunch plates fuel the hours ahead.

By night, the mood deepens. Candlelight, warm wood, clinking glasses, and a laid-back elegance that makes lingering feel natural. A place where you come as you are and let the good conversations flow effortlessly, long after the sun sets.

✨ Come see the space for yourself - walk-ins welcome.

Nørrebro’s hottest mocktail & kombucha bar. The drinks list is so fun, you forget the alcohol is missing. And magically, wake up fresh the next day 🌞

If you’re into a healthier approach to dining; this is the place for you.

WHY: well a big part of our concept is serving food (and drinks) that feel good. Fermentation goes beyond the food here, and into the gut-friendly kombucha pairing too.

Our team got creative, and searched high and low to find products that complement the menu, give you an exciting tasting experience, and minimise the bubbles so the food is still in full frame. And decided to serve it with the same level of love: in a w**e glass, with a service-led intro to each flavour, so you really do enjoy the full experience, even alcohol-free.

Dry January might be over, but we know many guests who, when the list is fun enough, are very open minded to the sober alternatives. And we’re stoked to help lead the movement here in Copenhagen. Come and try it! 💛

Cold outside but cozy in here 🤍❄️

A stunning brunch spread of our favourites lately: shakshuka (mini version, usually lots bigger!), mushroom toast and our take on banana bread. Plus all the juices to fill us with goodness.

Spot any of our favourites? Or must try’s?

Mind-Gut Community Workshop 🌱🌬️
Tuesday 27th January, from 18:30
Limited seating, bookings now open! 🤍
📍 The Sixteen Twelve

We’ve come together with & our friends at to create a special interactive workshop to explore the connection between the gut and the mind. Led by a nutritionist, we’ll blend science, mindfulness, and flavor to help you understand how what you eat and how you think shape your nervous system, mood, and overall wellbeing.

We’ll kick off with a calming journaling session paired with a Mindstudio mushroom tonic “spiked” kombucha to set the tone. Then, dive into an engaging talk on the gut-mind axis - exploring how it influences everything from digestion and skin health to inflammation and mental clarity. To wrap up, we’ll return to journaling and share a mindful food experience with nourishing, shareable bites designed to complement the conversation.

It’s a chance to recharge, reflect, and connect with others who care about health & wellbeing - something close to the heart for us here at The Sixteen Twelve!

🤍 HOW TO JOIN? 🤍
To keep this event intimate and insightful, we’ve limited the spots and you’ll need to grab a ticket.

You can find the link in our bio & stories. Your ticket is all inclusive - with snacks and drinks provided.
