Dear friends,
after a month of travel and inspiration across Southern Europe, from December 21 to January 21,
Ispirazione has reopened its doors.
We spent time in Barcelona at and — a true reference for authentic Italian food in Catalunya.
Then in Calabria, at in Locri, among the best gelato spots in the region.
In Samo, with Andrea — from Bar del Nonno to his cousin’s pastry shop, raising the bar even higher.
And finally in Bianco, at Pietro alla , home to some of the best burgers in Southern Italy, made with local bread and meat.
All these journeys had one purpose: to return with new ideas, better flavors, and even more quality on the plates at Ispirazione.
But the greatest luxury was, as always, family:
my mother cooking as if we were a hundred people,
and my father, after a few days of warm-up, beating me at cards again — just like when I was a child.
Now we’re back in Aarhus, with the kitchen in full motion:
Naja working on the doughs,
Mollie og Gamma on desserts,
Sonja, Djabril, Ottavia and Matilda growing stronger every day in skill and passion.
We look forward to welcoming you, as always, at Åboulevarden 82,
for a true Italian food experience, made of quality ingredients, craftsmanship, and heart.
