Es hat sich wohl immer noch nicht so ganz verbreitet, was der www.restaurantday.org ist, zu dem wir immer unser Pop-Up-Café eröffnen – daher hier eine Erläuterung:
Kurz: der Restaurant Day ist ein Food-Festival für einen Tag, das jährlich in Helsinki und inzwischen in ganz Europa stattfindet. Hierbei handelt es sich um ein Straßenfest, auf dem jeder für einen Tag Gastronom sein kann

Restaurant Day is a food carnival when anyone can set up a restaurant, café or a bar for a day.
WHERE:
International Restaurant Day can take place anywhere around the world. It can happen anywhere: at your home, at the office, on a street corner, in your garden or inner courtyard, at a park, or on the beach – only your imagination is the limit.
HOW:
You open the pop-up restaurants. The more interesting the concept of your restaurant is, the better it attracts people. However, oddities aren’t necessary. Good food and drinks at a nice place are enough – the most important is to create a restaurant that you’d like to visit yourself. After all, the idea of Restaurant Day is to have fun, share different restaurant experiences with other people and enjoy our living environment together.
On International Restaurant Day you can set up a restaurant alone, with friends or together with an organisation or practically any group of people. Check out some tips for setting up your own restaurant and list yours for the next Restaurant Day at www.restaurantday.org
