Street Café under shady trees on a cobbled intersection at the entrance to the von Alten Garden

This well known location is a throughfare between Linden Sud and Linden Mitte, it is also a stately old entrance and coachhouse to what was once the Von Alten Palace, and what is now the Von Alten Garten, there is a lot of History and atmosphere in the tranquil setting under the canopy of all the old trees. Cafe von Alten looks out onto the cobbled intersection and grand entrance of the Garden and

offers refreshments for taking into the garden, sitting on the benches and relaxing with oneself, a book or friends and family
The Spielplatz in the garden draws many young families and passers by, Linden residents all seem to enjoy what the small cafe has to offer and after this old traditional kiosk sat unused for quite few years, all those who come through this intersection seem to appreciate what is has become.
