While we love that drei gets quite busy on weekends (and we desperately need it) there is also our .shop open on Sundays where everything is relaxed and chilled 🙌

‘espresso’
probably the most irritating drink on our menu, so here are some points about our philosophy around it:

- we select seasonal coffees from the most outstanding roasters we consider friends and partners in a light roasted profile (usually it’s a filter roast)

- shots will be pulled long between 3:1 and 4:1 ratios. Coffees are complex and sometimes quite acidic. With a higher volume we aim to find the right water level to bring balance and sweetness into the cup

- we trade off body and mouthfeel for complexity and clarity any day. You might be surprised how much body some varieties bring naturally without it being effected by the roast level too much

- you’ll find a spoon on your tray. Don’t lick it. It’s there to stir your espresso
