from the northern hills of Kayanza, Burundi comes this lovely Red Bourbon from Nemba washing station. more than 1,000 smallholder farmers grow their coffee on small plots around 1,700 meters above sea level, with the cherries carefully hand-picked and fully washed before being dried on raised beds for 2–3 weeks.
in the cup, nemba brings what we love about burundian coffees: ripe apricot, honey sweetness and bright citrus. clean, sweet & bright with delicious juicy character.
