Specialty coffee brewed from the back of a '79 VW T2. These roasteries have a high commitment to quality, while having direct trade with the farmers.

Evie's Beans was founded in Ireland in 2014 when we converted our much loved Evie, a 1979 Volkswagen T2, into a mobile cafe. We then took the cafe to the road, and travelled throughout Europe in 2015, getting a feel for how coffee is appreciated in different parts of the world. We took this experience to Berlin where we continued to operate throughout the city, but also founded a second fixed loca

tion for Evie's Beans, focusing on brewing only high grade speciality coffee at both. We are only working with micro roasteries locally and abroad, who are roasting lightly, in order to retain as much of the flavour profile of the coffee bean as possible. Our milk is sourced from a local bio-dynamic farm, meaning its unhomogonised, cow friendly and as fresh as it can be. Coffee appreciation plays the main role in our vision, and offering friendly, knowledgeable service means you get an exceptional cafe experience at Evie's Beans.

It’s door open weather today, and it has us in the mood for spring! We will also be at Boxhagener Platz again this Saturday with the van. Flat whites from the back of a VW are the best flat whites!

Back open yesterday after the short break! Five Elephant’s Guatemalan Finca Buena Vista on espresso, and Ethiopian Adado on hand brew. Also catch us back at Boxhangener Platz tomorrow with Evie from 9 - 15:30 to finish out 2017. Cruise down for some brews!

We are finally ready to open the door at our new location. We have joined forces with our good friends at Motif Wein, and will be sharing the space at Weserstr. 189. Our vision is to provide a relaxed atmosphere and creative space, not just for specialty coffee or natural wine, but also a home for music. Opening party event page to follow!
