This Sunday, July 5th, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we invite the Venezuelan, Czech and international community to join us at Arepas de Lyna.

La Guaira is home to the families of every member of our Arepas de Lyna team. Today, many of them need our support.

All proceeds from the sale of arepas and beer during this event will be donated to the community of La Guaira, Venezuela.

We will also have a charity raffle and a long community table where we can all sit together, share a meal and support this cause as one family.

Please help us make a difference and support this noble cause.

La Guaira je domovem rodin všech členů našeho týmu Arepas de Lyna. Právě tam dnes mnoho našich blízkých potřebuje pomoc.

Veškerý výtěžek z prodeje arepa a piva během této akce bude věnován komunitě v La Guaire ve Venezuele.

Připravili jsme také charitativní tombolu a dlouhý společný stůl, kde se můžeme sejít, společně se najíst a podpořit dobrou věc.

🇺🇸Hello everyone,

For some time, we will not have music in our restaurant.

We are deeply moved by the situation in Venezuela. Many of us have family there, and we are living with great concern, uncertainty, and sadness.

If you see us quieter than usual, looking sad, or with tears in our eyes, it is because our hearts are with our loved ones and with our country.

Even so, we will continue working, because thanks to our work we can help and support our families from here.

Thank you for your understanding, kindness, and solidarity.

Jsme hluboce zasaženi situací ve Venezuele. Mnozí z nás tam mají své rodiny a prožíváme dny plné obav, nejistoty a smutku.

Pokud nás uvidíte tišší než obvykle, smutné nebo se slzami v očích, je to proto, že naše srdce je s našimi blízkými a s naší zemí.

Přesto budeme dál pracovat, protože právě díky naší práci můžeme své rodiny podporovat a pomáhat jim na dálku.

🇻🇪 Hoy nuestro corazón está con Venezuela.

Como venezolanos, guaireños y con nuestras familias en Venezuela, estamos viviendo momentos de mucha angustia. En este momento no tenemos comunicación con varios de nuestros seres queridos debido a la falta de señal y solo esperamos que todos estén sanos y salvos.

Si estás en Venezuela y tienes comunicación, por favor déjanos un mensaje indicando desde qué ciudad o estado escribes y cómo se encuentra tu familia. Sabemos que muchos venezolanos que vivimos fuera del país compartimos hoy la misma preocupación.

Que este espacio sirva para acompañarnos, compartir información verificada y darnos un poco de tranquilidad entre todos.

Desde Arepas de Lyna enviamos toda nuestra fuerza, nuestras oraciones y nuestro amor a Venezuela. 🇻🇪❤️🙏

Some stories are not only told through people… but also through little paws. 🤍🐶

Today we want to share very sad news with you.
Our beloved Tymmy Fortiz💙 crossed the rainbow bridge this May. 🌈🐾

Tymmy Fortiz 💙was not “just a dog”.
He was part of the history of Arepas de Lyna for many years.

The one who greeted customers, stayed with us during long days, slept near the kitchen and believed the whole street belonged to him. 🤍🐶

Many of you met him.
Many gave him love, snacks and cuddles.
Thanks to Tymmy Fortiz, we met wonderful people and built a beautiful community around him.

When he was younger, he loved sleeping by the window while people walked by and took photos of him because he looked so cute 🐶

And if there was one thing he truly loved… it was asking for food under the tables. 🐾
He would gently touch people’s legs with his paw hoping for “just one little bite”. That was his favorite hobby.

He was funny, stubborn, protective and deeply loved.
When he was younger, he thought he owned the whole street and wanted to fight every dog he saw. 🐶🤍

Today we are heartbroken, but also grateful.
Because Tymmy Fortiz💙lived surrounded by love, company and so many people who cared about him.

Thank you for being part of our family.
Thank you for staying with us all these years.

You will always be part of Arepas de Lyna. 🤍🐶
