Greetings Adventurers!
Some information for new-comers and professionals alike!
FAQ/Regulations
What is Adventurers League?
Adventurers League is an ongoing D&D Campaign, but with many DM's and countless players around the world, all on the same grand adventure. Each Adventurers League is guided by it's own house rules and character guidelines (Using 5E). So play this week in Prague, next week in Berlin and anywhere else you go in the world. You will find players and can continue your adventure!
How much does it cost?
What do I need to play?
One session costs 150kc - with food and drinks available with wait-staff attending for table side orders.
Swords, shields, magical sta... No, basically the same as any D&D game! A character sheet. (we can provide one for you)
-A log sheet to keep track of your many adventures! (We can supply too)
-Dice, pens, pencils and an eraser!
I am a D&D beginner, how do i do stuff?
This is where our DM's will guide and advise you how to play.
1. Listen to the DM and other players.
2. Explain to the DM how you want to go about something.
3. The DM will tell you which dice to roll - the result determines your success (or failure!)
Here is an example of an encounter and how to navigate it.
Starring Grog the Half-Orc Barbarian.
DM: Walking down a dark back alley, you feel it beginning to rain. Then you see a rat sitting near a sewer grate - staring at you. In it's hands you see a golden ring. What do you want to do?
Grog: Hmm, i wouldn't mind a midnight snack and oh the shiny! I will dive towards the rat and try to catch it with my hands.
DM: Okay! Roll for athletics - you need an 8.
Grog: *rolls* I rolled 18
OM: Success! Grog dives towards the rat like a lion, but with iron strong fingers. Your hands form an inescapable prison. The rat is yours as the ring clatters to the ground.
Don't ever hesitate to ask for assistance - We are all here to help and have fun! Remember D&D is a team game and success comes with teamwork! You will succeed together, or you will fall.
