Over the years, I’ve noticed that some of the most meaningful conversations often happened over tea.

Not because we had all the answers. But because slowing down, sharing stories, and hearing different perspectives helped us understand ourselves a little better.

Starting this summer, I’ll be hosting monthly tea gatherings for women in Prague.

Each month, we’ll explore a different theme, share good tea, and make a little more room for conversations and life.

Some things simply take time.
A tea plant doesn’t grow overnight.

Neither do trust, understanding, or a meaningful life.

In a world that encourages us to do more and move faster, tea reminds us of a different rhythm.

Perhaps not everything needs to be optimized.

Some things are meant to be cultivated.

Including ourselves. 🌿💛

Modern life isn’t always easy for highly sensitive people.

Busy cities, constant noise, and endless stimulation can make sensitivity feel more like a burden than a gift.

But maybe that’s not the whole story.

The same sensitivity that gets overwhelmed by too much can also notice beauty, subtle emotions, and small details that others might easily miss.

And sometimes, those observations become a way of understanding ourselves a little better.

Tea has a quiet role in this.

Not because it makes us more sensitive, but because it gives us something modern life often doesn’t — a chance to slow down.

To notice a change in aroma.
A slight shift in temperature.
A feeling that comes and goes.

Over time, these small moments of attention can teach us something beyond tea.

They remind us to pay attention not only to what’s in the cup, but also to what’s happening within ourselves.

Perhaps sensitivity isn’t just something to manage.

Perhaps it can also become a way of knowing ourselves more deeply. 🌿🍵

For a long time, I thought the answer was more discipline.

Wake up earlier.
Be more productive.
Push a little harder.

But recently, I’ve been questioning that.

When my home feels chaotic, it’s harder to focus.
When my body hurts, it’s harder to create.
When too many things are left unfinished, even small tasks feel heavy.

Maybe the problem isn’t always a lack of discipline.

Maybe what we’re missing is support.

A space that helps us concentrate.
People we can trust.
Small rituals that help us slow down and reset.

Instead of asking
“How can I be more disciplined?”
I’m trying to ask:
“What would support me better?”

Curious what your answer would be.

There is no single solution to a tired life.

Not more productivity.
Not more entertainment.
Not even more rest.

What we need are small moments that help us transition between different parts of the day.

Moments that remind us to slow down.
To breathe.
To arrive.

For me, tea is one of those moments.
Not because tea is the answer.
But because it helps me come back to myself.

What helps you do the same?

The truth? I’m a tea brand founder who loves her latte. ☕️

But I’ve learned that there’s a difference between being “caffeinated” and being “centered.”

In the hustle of Prague, we often trade our inner peace for temporary speed. I founded YuanCha to offer an alternative: Energy Management through Tea.

It’s not just about the leaves; it’s about the stillness. It’s about reclaiming your focus in a world that’s constantly loud.

Whether you’re a coffee lover looking for a pause or seeking a deeper connection with yourself, my tea table in Vinohrady is open for you. 🌿
