Lenia’s Traditional Tavern is one of the last remaining jewels of traditional Cypriot Cuisine. Nestled in the picturesque village Psematismenos, located between Limassol and Larnaca, this small tavern serving only home-made Cypriot delicacies is one of the last of its kind. Mrs Lenia and her husband George have been running the Tavern for 30 years, using only the freshest local ingredients for their delicious home-cooked dishes.

Lenia’s Traditional Tavern is not for the mainstream Tourist, but rather for those eclectic travelers looking for something genuine and authentic.

Nowhere is this tavern’s traditional ways more apparent than the incredibly economical prices that would satisfy even the most frugal locals, and the exquisite rustic Cypriot cuisine that can only exist in such off-the-beaten-path taverns.

Need more proof that Lenia’s Tavern is the real deal? Just look at the regular clientele, comprised 70% of local Cypriots who are willing to travel away from their busy city centres’ to ensure they enjoy the authentic Cypriot dishes as made by their mothers’ and grandmothers.

Η Παραδοσιακή Ταβέρνα της Λένιας είναι ένα διαμάντι της αυθεντικής Κυπριακής Κουζίνας, στο γραφικό χωριό Ψεματισμένος, ανάμεσα στη Λεμεσό και τη Λάρνακα. Η κυρία Λένια και ο σύζυγός της Γιώργος δουλεύουν την ταβέρνα εδώ και 30 χρόνια, χρησιμοποιώντας μόνο τα πιο φρέσκα τοπικά υλικά για τα νόστιμα σπιτικά φαγητά τους. Αυτό μπορεί να εξακριβωθεί και από την τακτική πελατεία τους, που αποτελείται 70% από ντόπιους Κυπρίους.
