Bellydance Shows CY is a new artistic brand that aspires to highlight the modern side of bellydance in Cyprus and bring the audience closer through highly aesthetic shows by renowned professionals, combining art and fun/interactive entertainment. The group of professional dancers appears all over Cyprus at venuesm receptions, events & television programs. Their performances stand out while they have already collaborated with recorded artists from Greece, Cyprus.

The artistic director of Bellydance Shows CY is Maraiya:
Maraiya is a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer based in Cyprus. She begun early her education in performing arts attenting musical theatre lessons and very soon she followed a teachers' dance system education along with further education in music. During this artistic pursue she came across bellydance, she immediately begun to train and as a result she distinguished in multiple competitions with solo and group participation. Remarkable is that while she is dancing professioanal also in other styles covering contracts abroad, venues and events inland she remains genuine to her approach performing each style as near to it authentic form possible. Her skills and understanding result in a beautiful connection with her audience, her performances are highly entertaining while she keeps excellent technique.

Lucy has been introduced to bellydance at an early age and since then driven by her passion for this form of art carried on and discovered styles and techniques. Soon she took it up professionally, covering nights at venues, restaurants, events and participating in performances. She has completed her studies in choreography and contemporary dance, thus introducing in her performances further dramatic features increasing the dynamics of her repertoire. She has been distinguished in competitions inland and abroad. She has also participated in festivals in Cairo where she has been teaching classes, performing on stage with live orchestra and choreographing for students and groups to perform.

Η Λούση έχει εισαχθεί στο χορό της κοιλιάς σε νεαρή ηλικία και από τότε καθοδηγούμνη από το πάθος της για αυτή τη μορφή της τέχνης, αναζήτησε και ανακάλυψε στυλ και τεχνικές. Σύντομα, το ακολούθησε επαγγελματικά, καλύπτοντας βραδιές σε εκδηλώσεις, εστιατόρια και συμμετέχοντας σε παραστάσεις. Έχει ολοκληρώσει τις σπουδές της στη χορογραφία και το σύγχρονο χορό, εισάγοντας έτσι στο χορό της περαιτέρω δραματικά στοιχεία αυξάνοντας τη δυναμική του ρεπερτορίου της. Έχει διακριθεί σε διαγωνισμούς στην Κύπρο και στο εξωτερικό. Eπίσης συμμετάσχει σε φεστιβάλ στο Κάιρο όπου διδάσκει μαθήματα, χορεύει επί σκηνής με ζωντανή ορχήστρα και χορογραφεί για μαθητές και ομάδες.

Η Μαράια είναι επαγγελματίας χορεύτρια, δασκάλα και χορογράφος με έδρα την Κύπρο. Ξεκίνησε νωρίς την εκπαίδευσή της στις παραστατικές τέχνες παρακολουθώντας μαθήματα μουσικού θεάτρου και πολύ σύντομα ακολούθησε εκπαίδευση δασκάλων σε σύστημα χορού μαζί με περαιτέρω εκπαίδευση στη μουσική. Κατά τη διάρκεια αυτής της καλλιτεχνικής ενασχόλησης συνάντησε το bellydance, άρχισε αμέσως να προπονείται με αποτέλεσμα να διακριθεί σε πολλούς διαγωνισμούς με σόλο αλλά και ομαδική συμμετοχή. Αξιοσημείωτο είναι ότι ενώ χορεύει επαγγελματικά και σε άλλα στυλ καλύπτοντας συμβόλαια στο εξωτερικό, χώρους και εκδηλώσεις στην Κύπρο, παραμένει αυθεντική στην προσέγγισή της και στην ερμηνεία της. Οι δεξιότητές της και η κατανόησή της έχουν ως αποτέλεσμα μια όμορφη σύνδεση με το κοινό της, οι ερμηνείες της είναι άκρως διασκεδαστικές ενώ διατηρεί εξαιρετική τεχνική.

Alexia began to experiment early with Oriental dance and she has gradually built her own style guided by her innate passion for dancing to Middle Eastern rhythms and melodies. For the last eight years she has participated in a number of events, numerous official festival Galas inland and abroad. She has attended various seminars with international teachers and participated and won awards in local & international competitions. She has recently joined festivals in Cairo and appeared repeatedly on stage with a live orchestra. Her style and vigor have been praised by masterteachers.

Η Αλεξία άρχισε από νωρίς να πειραματίζεται με τον Ανατολίτικο Χορό και σταδιακά έχει χτίστει το δικό της στυλ καθοδηγούμενη από το έμφυτο πάθος της για το χορό, τους ρυθμούς και τις μελωδίες της Μέσης Ανατολής. Τα τελευταία οχτώ χρόνια έχει συμμετάσχει σε μια σειρά από παραστάσεις και πολλές ειδικές βραδιές, γιορτές, φεστιβάλ κ.α. Έχει παρακολουθήσει διάφορα σεμινάρια με διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένους δασκάλους και συμμετείχε και κέρδισε βραβεία σε τοπικούς και διεθνής διαγωνισμούς. Πρόσφατα παρουσιάστηκε σε φεστιβάλ στο Κάιρο και χόρεψε στη σκηνή με ζωντανή υπόκρουση ορχήστρας αραβικής μουσικής. Το στυλ της και η κίνησή της έχει επαινεθεί από διεθνής δασκάλους στο είδος αυτό.

Constantina is a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer based in Nicosia. Since the age of 5, she has been involved in dance, emphasizing the genre of Bellydance. She has won many competitions in Cyprus and abroad, while she constantly follows seminars and participates in festivals, enriching her knowledge and experience. Her dance style is considered unique, with a particular intensity in her lyrical style, and while she magnetizes her audience with her grace, she also emphasizes her technique as a result of hard work and dedication to her art.

Η Κωνσταντίνα είναι επαγγελματίας χορεύτρια, δασκάλα και χορογράφος με έδρα τη Λευκωσία. Από την ηλικία των 5 ετών ασχολείται με τον χορό, δίνοντας έμφαση στο είδος του Ανατολίτικου Χορού. Έχει κερδίσει πολλούς διαγωνισμούς στην Κύπρο και το εξωτερικό, ενώ παρακολουθεί συνεχώς σεμινάρια και συμμετέχει σε φεστιβάλ, εμπλουτίζοντας τις γνώσεις και την εμπειρία της. Το χορευτικό της στυλ θεωρείται μοναδικό, με ιδιαίτερη ένταση στο λυρικό της ύφος, και ενώ μαγνητίζει το κοινό της με τη χάρη της, δίνει έμφαση και στην τεχνική της, ως αποτέλεσμα της σκληρής δουλειάς και της αφοσίωσης στην τέχνη της.
