Today was the last day of Five & Two Café.
In December 2022, we started with a dream.
Not a perfect plan. Just a vision in our hearts to create a peaceful place where people could sit, breathe, talk, pray, work, laugh, and feel safe.
We wanted it to be more than coffee. We wanted it to feel like rest.
And somehow, through faith and long days and very short nights, it grew into something beautiful.
We hosted baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays, charlas, business meetings, Bible studies, worship gatherings, community events, family brunches, creative brainstorm sessions, first dates, reconciliations, and countless “just one coffee” that turned into two-hour conversations.
We also faced real challenges. Financial pressure. Exhaustion. Doubt. And yes… getting robbed FOR THE SECOND TIME completely empty a few days before opening😅.
That moment could have ended everything before it even started. But we rebuilt. We pushed through. We learned. We grew.
Five & Two shaped us as much as we shaped it.
But seasons change.
As our family is growing, our priorities are shifting. We felt peace that it was time to release this chapter. Raily stepping in felt right. His passion for horeca, food, hospitality and service aligns with the heart of the space. He will continue here with his own concept, his own vision.
And we get to step back. To breathe. To focus on our family and loved ones.
Today we closed Five & Two Café.
And now, Refidim will open.
Thank you to everyone who supported us, prayed for us, showed up for us, and believed in us. This place will always be part of our story.
To our team, we love you so much. Thank you.
With grateful hearts, Braidley & Nellisa 🤎
